Vernal, Ut.- Sgt. Tribe investigated an incident with 33-year-old Krystal Louise Raven and one of her daughters when Raven accused her of stealing her drugs. During the argument, Raven grabbed her daughter by the hair and slapped the side of her head, causing injury to her daughter.

The argument escalated, and Raven told her daughter she would take her up in the mountains to kill her and "to put on her shoes and a hat, so the blood didn't splatter."

Two other children were in the home and were aware their mother had a gun in her bedroom and were scared that she was actually going to shoot one of them.

When Police interviewed Krystal, she admitted to making the threats of taking her daughter to the mountain to kill her.

Law enforcement obtained a search warrant for Raven’s home and found the gun described by the children hidden under Krystal’s mattress. Police also found in the bedroom various items of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. According to the affidavit.

Four minor children lived in the home and were exposed to or had contact with the controlled substance from Raven smoking marijuana with the children inside the house.
