Roosevelt, Ut.- On 5/31/23, Cpl. Barton was dispatched to assist AP&P agents on a home visit at 1331 West Hwy 40 at a camp trailer.
The person they were there to see was 26-year-old Dusty Fred Roy Clark.
Cpl. Barton was informed that the agent found illegal drug paraphernalia in the camp trailer Dusty and his wife 51-year-old Jackie Lynn Bird, live in. According to the affidavit.
During the search, they found two meth pipes and syringes with meth inside them. The Cpl. And the agent continued to search the trailer and found several other bags with a small testable amount of meth inside them. A backpack was found near the kitchen table, and Jackie claimed it was her friend’s and she was holding it for her.
Jackie was asked what was in the backpack, and she said there were scales and baggies inside it.
There was a large wooden jewelry box, and inside was a blue plastic container with a testable amount of marijuana inside.
Agent Draper had Dusty do a urine test, which returned positive for drugs.
Cpl. Barton searched a bag that Dusty said was his prior to going to prison and inside was a small plastic bag with a testable amount of meth.
Dusty and Jackie were advised of their Miranda Warning, and Jackie said the drugs and drug paraphernalia were hers.
The drugs and paraphernalia were collected for evidence, and the couple was arrested and transported to the Duchesne County Jail.
