Officer Candelas was called to the Uhaul parking lot at 1153 West US-40, where dispatch advised him that a female had stolen a cell phone from the complainant's work truck.

The female was described as 30 to 40 years old, 5'03" to 5'03" tall, 115 pounds, wearing a dark gray jacket with blue sweatpants, and carrying a black bag or backpack.

The officer spoke with the complainant, who stated that a black Samsung Ultra had been taken out of a bag on the vehicle's passenger seat.

The female was identified as 33-year-old Ashleigh Lauren Holloway.

Ashleigh was wearing a black hoodie and black sweats. She also had a dark blue backpack with her. When Ashleigh was asked if she had gotten into a truck and taken a phone, she denied it.

While Officer Candelas was speaking with Ashleigh, he noticed a black Samsung Ultra next to a nearby tree where she was sitting. When he showed the phone to Ashleigh, she denied taking it once again.

She then stated that a man named "Hunter" had stolen several phones from her and had been harassing her. That's why she took the phone from the bag inside the vehicle.

The phone was taken back to the complainant, and he was able to prove to the officer it was his.

Ashleigh unlawfully entered the vehicle and took a phone from inside. She was booked into the Uintah County Jail on the following charges: Vehicle Burglary and Felony 3 Theft.

Based on the affirmation of Officer Candelas the arresting officer, the undersigned magistrate finds that probable cause existed for the arrest without a warrant of Ashleigh Lauren Holloway. Ashleigh Lauren Holloway may post bail in the amount of $5,000.00.

If Ashleigh Lauren Holloway posts bail as stated above, Ashleigh Lauren Holloway is hereby ordered to be released subject to the following conditions:

•Promise to appear for all required court proceedings

•Promise to not commit any criminal offense

• Report your contact information and any change in address, phone or email to the Court and your attorney within 1 business day of the change
