Deputy Pratt informed Deputy Anderton that he had probable cause to arrest 36-year-old Aleice Collins.
Deputy Andeton was in the area, and when he got closer to her address, he could see Aleice walking from the fence line that separates the home she rents from her parent's house. Aleice's parents' home is listed as a protected place on a protective order issued by the 8th District Court. The fence line is closer than 500 feet from her parent's home.
As the deputy was pulling into the driveway, Aleice began to run across the property into the home she is renting. The deputy tried to make contact with Aleice at the front door, but she had already entered the house before the deputy could get to her.
Loud music came from the home, and Deputy Anderton could hear a dog barking. The music stopped after his second knock on the door.
The deputy made contact with the victim and asked if she knew if Aleice had been on her property. The victim stated that she didn't know and said that Aleice had been coming onto the property by crossing the fence, where the victim's cameras could not see Aleice.
The protective order states the victim and the victim's property are protected from Aleice and that Aleice is to stay 500 feet away from the victim.
Aleice has been arrested and booked into Uintah County Jail for protective order violation, a 3rd-degree felony.
Aleice had been trespassed from the victim's property and has returned to the property several times. Aleice has shown that she has no regard for the "no trespassing" order nor the protective order issued by the 8th District Court.
Deputy Anderton asked that Aleice be held without bail.
On 6/14/25, Deputy Lyman was dispatched to a residence in Ballard on a report that Aleice Collins was at his residence yelling and screaming and assaulting the complainant.
Dispatch reported hearing yelling in the background, and then the phone disconnected.
Deputy Lyman began to respond to the call and requested assistance from the Roosevelt Police Department, as they were closer than the deputy.
The deputy was familiar with the address and the recent incidents involving Aliece, who had been trespassed from the address and also had two protected individuals living there.
Aleice had been trespassed from the property on 5/29/25 and informed that she was not allowed to return to the residence. Aleice had been notified multiple times and for multiple reasons why she was not to go to the address.
Roosevelt City Police arrived and had Aleice detained when Deputy Lyman arrived on the scene.
While detained, Aleice looked at RPD Officer Reed and told him that she was going to kill Victim 2. Aleice was then placed in the back of RPD's vehicle.
Deputy Lyman spoke to Victim 1 and Victim 2. Aleice had been yelling at Victim 1 and Victim 2 throughout the time law enforcement was responding. This violated her protective order with both victims.
Victim 2 stated she was sitting in her vehicle when Aleice approached her vehicle and began yelling at her through the window. Victim 1, saw this and began to direct Aleice away from the car, telling her to leave and go away. Aleice then turned around and started yelling and screaming at Victim 1 prior to hitting him.
Victim 1 stated he was pulled down towards Aleice, and then she began striking him on his back at the base of his neck. She then returns to the vehicle and begins hitting Victim 2 through the open window. There was also a 6-year-old child inside the vehicle during the assault.
After Aleice begins to assault Victim 2 through the window, Victim 1 pulls her away and tells her to leave. Aleice then walks back towards her residence and is later detained by RPD.
Aleice was transported to Uintah County Jail, where she was booked on the following charges:
Two counts of Violation of a protective order 76-5-108, Class A Misdemeanors, for contacting and directly communicating with Victim 1 and Victim 2.
Threats of Violence 76-5-107, a Class B Misdemeanor, for threatening to kill Victim 2.
Criminal Trespassing 76-6-206, a Class B Misdemeanor, for entering a property for which she had been given notice that she was not allowed and entering a property with the intent to commit a crime.
Two counts of assault (domestic violence) 76-5-102, Class B Misdemeanors, for hitting and striking both Victim 1 and 2, who are defined as cohabitants.
Commission of Domestic Violence in the Presence of a Child 76-5-114, a Class B Misdemeanor, for committing an act of domestic violence while in the physical presence of a child.
Deputy Lyman’s notes in the probable cause report:
Aleice has repeatedly violated the protective order and continues to return to the property listed on the protective order. Aleice subsequently assaulted multiple persons listed as protected on the protective order. Aleice has made threats to kill one of the victims, and the family is in fear that she may try to kill the family if she is released.
Aleice has provided notice to law enforcement that any law enforcement that knocks on her door or crosses her gate will be shot. Aleice confirmed in an interview with law enforcement that she is willing and has plans to shoot law enforcement upon contact if they are not there to help her. This notice is documented on a piece of paper noted on Aleice's front door of her residence and states, "The next 'COP" bitch with a badge that knocks on my door & crosses my gate I WILL SHOOT!! Yall been warned."
Aleice is a substantial danger to both the community and law enforcement and continues to disregard the direction of a protective order, substantiating that she is willing to commit further offenses.
Aleice Collins is being held in the Uintah County Jail without bail.
