Roosevelt City Police received a report of an intoxicated male who was arguing with the complainant and had broken the bathroom door down.
When the police arrived, they found a male, identified as 32-year-old Jacob Nathaniel Alan Wiley, outside the residence.
Officer Harrison asked Jacob what was the reason they needed to be there, and he stated he needed to use the bathroom, so he banged on the door.
When asked if there had been an argument with his girlfriend, Jacob stated that, at this point, he just wanted to get into the bathroom.
Sgt. Bird went to speak with the victim and met her at the front door. She invited him inside the home, and when Jacob saw this, he started yelling he couldn't go in the house. Jacob was asked if the victim lived there, and he stated she did. Officer Harrison stated she could invite Sgt. Bird in to speak with him if she wanted to.
The victim stated that Jacob had been drinking all day, and when she arrived home, she didn't like that he had been drinking so much, so she went to bed. Jacob came in later, started yelling at her, and followed her around, so she went into the bathroom and locked the door to stay away from him.
The victim could hear things breaking around the house, and then Jacob came up to the door, yelling at the victim through the door, and began trying to break down the bathroom door.
The victim showed the officers the bathroom door, where they saw that it was broken at the top and falling apart. The victim's tablet was broken completely in half and on the floor.
Jacob was placed under arrest for domestic violence criminal mischief for breaking the door and tablet during an argument and for domestic criminal mischief. He was arrested for intoxication as well.
