A female on probation for a no-alcohol clause gets arrested for possession of alcohol

By Travis Uresk

7/14/23

Vernal, Ut.- On 7/9/23, Deputy Pratt was dispatched to a female subject that was suicidal. When he arrived, he recognized the female as 30-year-old Keyley Gay Christensen.

The Deputy could smell the odor of alcohol coming from Keyley as he spoke to her.

After observing blood on her hand and her clothes, he had EMTs check her out and then transported her to the UBH due to her comments of being suicidal.

A records check was conducted on Keyley, which showed she was on probation. Deputy Pratt spoke to her Probation Officer, who informed him that she had a no-alcohol clause as an interdicted person.

While at the hospital, Keyley submitted to a PBT, which showed a positive indication of alcohol. Keyley stated when she got off work, she started drinking and said she drank about half of a bottle of tequila.

After receiving medical clearance, Keyley was booked into the Uintah County Jail without incident for possession of alcohol as an interdicted person.

I hope Keley gets the help she needs and deserves. There are people that care about her and are willing to help.
