Neola, Ut.- On 3/17/23, Deputy Priebe responded to a residence in Neola on a reported domestic violence. Upon arrival, the complainant stated that 24-year-old Skylar Anne Berry had been attacking his son.

The complainant said Skyler hit his son with a broom handle in the face, and his son didn't hit Skyler at any time during the incident.

The son (unknown age) stated he was sleeping when Skyler bent his fingers back, causing enough pain to wake him up.

The son stated he attempted to enter another room when Skyler hit him in the face with the broom handle. He then restrained Skyler enough to get to the bathroom, where he locked himself until the Deputy arrived.

The son told the Deputy he didn't strike Skyler at any time during the altercation.

Skyler stated that the son had hit her in the face causing her mouth to bleed, and she did bend his fingers back and hit him with a broom handle.

The Deputy had Skyler show him the inside of her mouth, and there were no visible injuries inside her mouth or on her face.

During Deputy Priebe's investigation, the son had red marks on his side, consistent with his statement. There was a broom with a red metal handle on the floor bent in the middle, consistent with the son's statement.

Skyler was arrested and transported to the Duchesne County Jail to be booked for domestic violence.
