Ballard, Ut.- On 7/1/23, a report of an open 911 call in the area of 2390 N 3500 E dispatch reported that a female could be heard saying, "You pushed me down," and a male voice saying, "No, I didn't."

Deputy Embleton and Deputy Mieure arrived on the scene and made contact with a female, identified as 42-year-old Katie Ann Jeffs.

While the Deputies spoke with Katie, she stated that her husband had bumped her head during an argument. After investigating the incident, it was determined that no physical altercation had occurred.

While the Deputies were leaving the residence and walking to their patrol vehicles, they could hear Katie yelling at her husband from the open front door. She said, "I'm going to kill you."

The Deputies saw Katie shove her husband into a wall just inside the front door. As Deputy Embleton approached the residence, he heard Katie say, "I'm going to fucking kill you," as she was facing her husband, and then say, "I'll kill you too." To her mother-in-law, who had arrived on scene to help her son and daughter-in-law.

Deputy Embleton entered the home and repeatedly heard Katie say these threats to her husband and mother-in-law, "I'm really going to kill you."

Katie was arrested for assault for shoving her husband in front of law enforcement, making threats of violence, and was also charged with intoxication to the point she was a danger to others.

Katie Jeffs was transported to the Uintah County Jail, where she was booked for the charges of assault, two counts of threats of violence, and intoxication.
