While teenager is unconscious, another continues to assault him

On Saturday the 14th, police responded to a report of an assault that had occurred near 175 North 500 West in Roosevelt.

When police arrived, Officer Bellon spoke with the 17-year-old victim and a witness who reported the victim had been in a fight with 18-year-old Carson Craig Farley earlier, around 10 pm.

The victim stated while at a friend's, he received messages from Carson, who kept asking the victim where he was and he was going to find him and kick his ass. The victim said that when he arrived home around 10 pm, Carson and a group of juveniles between the ages of 14-17 were with him.

The victim walked over to talk with Carson, and Carson demanded that the victim apologize to his friend, who had been in an argument with the victim earlier in the evening.

The victim stated Carson then kicked him in the groin and shoved him, where he hit his head on the ground. He said he didn't remember anything after hitting his head, temporarily losing consciousness.

Officer Bellon saw swelling to the victim's jaw, and he had a laceration on top of his head that was still bleeding and several chipped teeth on his bottom jaw.

The officer spoke with the witness and had a video of the altercation. The video showed the victim and Carson talking when Carson kicked the victim in the groin. When the victim leans over, Carson grabs the victim by the back of the shirt, shoving the victim to the ground.

While the victim is falling, Carson is punching the victim in the head. When the victim hits the ground, he is seen having little to no movement. Carson is seen standing over the victim, striking him in the head several times while the victim is lying on the ground. Carson is then seen getting pulled away from the victim. He then steps toward the victim, who is still on the ground and kicks him in the side of the torso.

After the fight, the victim is seen having assistance standing up. He then stumbles to the ground, where Carson grabs the victim by the hair, jerking his head around. Carson walks away, and the video ends.

On 12/15/2024, Officer Bellon went to Carson's residence, arrested him, and transported him to the Duchesne County Jail. Carson Farley is being held without bail.
