A man called into dispatch and stated he would like to speak with a Naples City Officer regarding a theft that occurred at a storage unit at 1365 E 2000 S in Naples.

Officer Ashman called the man, and he informed the officer that he stored his boat at the facility. Someone had come in over the last two weeks and stolen fishing gear from his boat, as well as siphoned gas out of it.

The caller stated that he had contacted the owner of the storage facility to ask if they had video surveillance but was told they would not be able to review it until the following day because they were out of town. Officer Ashman also attempted to contact the owner but received no answer.

Officer Roth was notified of the situation and was asked to follow up with the storage unit facility to review any available video footage.

Officer Roth spoke with Officer Ashman about the theft incident the next day about the video footage he reviewed. He stated that there was a clear video of a vehicle and two suspects.

The two suspects were identified as 37-year-old Kristin Lynn Goff and 36-year-old Brandon E. Robertson.

The owner of the storage units confirmed it was Kristin's PIN code that was used to enter the unit, and her access has been denied due to lack of payment. The owner said he would notify the Naples Police Department if Kristin attempted to return to the storage area.

During the investigation, it was discovered that a second victim had also had items stolen from their boat. Both victims were notified to get a list of items as well as the value of the items that were stolen.

The first victim's stolen property was estimated to be between $ 1,500 and $ 4,999. The second victim's value of the stolen property was less than $500.

On July 1, 2025, Officer Ashman was notified that Brandon and Kristin were at the storage unit, and Officer Roth was en route.

Brandon and Kristin were arrested and taken to jail.

During the investigation, Officer Roth received additional information about Kristin Goff. The owner of the storage units informed the officer he had seen the group moving multiple rifles and rifle-style gun cases.

With Kristin being a felon and being on paper, she should not be in possession of any weapons.

After meeting up with the other previous law enforcement agencies, the police made their way into the storage unit complex. They surrounded the group of four who were unloading the storage unit.

All four subjects were detained at that time to secure the scene, and Kristin was placed under arrest for her multiple outstanding warrants and the previously mentioned felony theft case.

After Kristin's arrest, AP&P began to conduct a search of her property. During a search of Kristin's backpack, a small wallet was found, and inside the wallet, two Ute Tribe ID cards and a Utah Driver's license were located, all belonging to a subject from Vernal.

Along with the ID cards were two debit cards and a Sam's Club Membership card, also belonging to the same person who is in custody at the Duchesne County Jail.

Kristin is being held without bail, and Brandon may post bail in the amount of $3,000.00.
