The man who threatened to break a woman's neck was charged with 10 counts of having firearms.

Roosevelt, Utah—Officer S. Cox with the RPD went to serve a temporary protective order and to arrest 32-year-old Anthony Tanner Small who threatened to break a woman's neck in a violent incident that occurred on March 30th, 2026.
The officer was also there to keep the peace while a female retrieved her personal property from the residence.
Officer S. Cox arrived at the residence and found Anthony. While they spoke, Anthony stated he didn't possess any firearms, and that any that he did own were at his parents' house. Anthony is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.
Anthony was arrested for the domestic violence charges and was served with a temporary protective order.
During Officer S. Cox's investigation, she discovered that Anthony is the respondent of another active protective order involving a different victim, which was served on October 24th, 2019. This protective order prohibits Anthony from possessing firearms.
Law enforcement had been looking for Anthony Small for about three days before Officer S. Cox located and arrested him for the March 30th, 2026, domestic violence offense, but were unsuccessful.
As the officer stood watch, the woman entered the residence to retrieve her belongings. During this, approximately 12 firearms were found inside a closet belonging to Anthony. The woman identified and retrieved two of the guns as hers.
The remaining 10 firearms in Anthony's possession, and his status as a restricted person, Anthony was charged with 10 counts of possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, a thrid-degree felony.
