Multiple officers respond to a domestic call after suspect threatens responding officer he is going to get a gun.

Duchesne County (4/18/26)—Deputy Green received a call from dispatch of a domestic violence detail. Dispatch advised there was screaming with a female crying and a male in the background saying he was punched in the face.
The caller was not answering dispatch's questions and stated that the female kept crying, telling the male to get out. The line got disconnected, and the dispatcher wasn't able to reach the female when calling back.
Roosevelt City Police Officer D. Adams was the first to arrive on scene and made contact with the female. Officer Adams advised that the male subject went into the residence to get a gun. The homeowner confirmed that no other individuals were inside the residence.
This detail prompted multiple agencies to respond, including Roosevelt City Police, Highway Patrol, and Duchesne County Deputies. After several minutes of trying to safely get the suspect out of the residence, the responders determined they would stand down from the residence to avoid further incident.
Deputy Green asked the woman to explain what had happened earlier, prompting the police to be called to her residence. She said that she and 43-year-old Nathan Stanley Roberts were drinking, and Nathan started to treat her poorly, so she asked if he wanted to go to bed, which made him mad. Nathan started walking toward the master bedroom, with the female right behind him.
She told him she was going to stay up and watch a movie with her two kids, and Nathan became even angrier and threw the TV remote across the room. The female told him to leave and offered to drive him home. They went into the garage. Nathan got into the passenger seat for a moment, then exited the vehicle and threw a skateboard. When he threw the skateboard, it broke the passenger side mirror on her truck.
This is when the female called 911, telling the deputy that while she was on the phone with the dispatcher, Nathan grabbed her phone, hung up, then threw it across the garage. Nathan then tried to hug the woman, but she grabbed him by the neck to keep him from getting close to her. She said Nathan threatened suicide, to which she responded that she didn't care. Nathan turned and walked into the house, and she took her children and left on foot for a safer place.
When asked about the guns she had in the house, she stated having two guns in the master bedroom. The deputy asked the female if the incident ever became physical, she stated that Nathan did not physically hurt her, and does not live at the residence with her.
On April 19th, at approximately 6:30 am, Duchesne County Deputies conducted a follow-up with Nathan. He consented to an interview after being advised of the Miranda rights. During the interview, he said that he did not remember anything that happened. He stated he and the female drank, and he had drunk as much as he normally does.
Nathan was placed into handcuffs and was placed under arrest for domestic violence, enhanced property damage, damaging or interrupting another person's use of a communication device while the other person is trying to summon emergency aid, and two counts of the commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child.
Nathan was transported to the Duchesne County Jail, where he was booked in on the mentioned charges.
