Man arrested for threatening to drive a dump truck through a woman's house

Officers responded to a call for threats of violence in Naples, Utah. Upon their arrival at the complainant's property, she stated that 59-year-old Elton Lin Wilcock had been sending her text messages and voicemails calling her names and that he was going to run over her car and her house with a dump truck.
After Officer Ashman left the complainant's residence to locate Elton, he was again dispatched back to the complainant's home, where she stated Elton had left five more voicemails calling her more names and said he wished she was dead.
After leaving the complainant's residence again, Officer Roth and Ashman drove to Elton's place of work in an attempt to locate him. When they arrived, they saw a car that Elton had been known to drive, with a male sitting in the driver's seat.
The officer walked over to the vehicle and asked the driver to identify himself. When he said Elton Wilcock, he was told to exit the vehicle and asked what was going on with him and the complainant.
Elton stated they had been arguing, and he admitted to sending multiple text messages and voicemails after the complainant told him he was blocked and didn't want to talk to him anymore. He also admitted to leaving a note on the complainant's car before he went to work, and he'd been to her house two other times trying to find her.
Elton started to get irritated, said he was going to leave, and tried to get into his car. He was told he couldn't leave because he was under arrest. Elton started to back away from Officer Roth and grabbed Elton's arm. Elton began pulling his arms away from the officers telling them to "Get the fuck off of him."
Due to his resistance, it took three officers to successfully place Elton under arrest.
