The "Son" of Tabiona, who has a “Kill list,” threatens to shoot one on his victims

Hanna, Utah (5/16/26)—Cpl. Cox with the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office was notified of a report of a threat made by 57-year-old Michael Deloy Dye, saying he was going to shoot the caller's husband.

The deputy arrived, and the caller stated that her husband and other witnesses saw Mike pull up in front of his house, which they figured he was there to buy eggs, as he had done in the past. The daughter went into the house to get the eggs, and the husband said that Mike started yelling at him, saying things like he is the "Son" of Tabiona, and told the homeowner he is going to die.

The husband said another person drove by, and Mike started yelling and waving at him.

This individual told Cpl. Cox he believed Mike wanted to get his sprinkler parts back that had been loaned to him. When he got out of his vehicle, Mile began yelling and insulting him. Mike got out of his tractor and walked aggressively toward the man before turning away and telling him he was also on the list to die.

The woman also told the deputy that when she was coming out of the house, she could hear Mike yelling and watch him take what appeared to be a long-barreled gun from his tractor. This was during the same time he was yelling at the two men outside, telling them they were going to die. She said the barrel appeared black, that he took it from the tractor, and put it back.

Cpl. Cox was told they kept telling Mike to leave, but he kept yelling and threatening all of them.

The deputy then went to Mike's residence and saw the tractor in the front driveway.

Sgt. Bulow and Cpl. Cox was approaching the front of the house when he saw Mike walking toward them carrying a beer. They told Mike they were there to find out what had happened down the road. He began telling the deputies that all the drones flying in the air have been a problem, and that the Sheriff's Office won't do anything about it. Those drones and other things are killing his trees.

Mike was told by the deputies that they needed to find out what had happened. He told them he was tired of his feet getting shocked, and he told the individuals who showed up and stole his sprinkler parts. Mike was asked if he had threatened to kill or shoot anyone, and he denied these claims. He was also asked whether he had any firearms.

At first, he claimed he didn't have one, but then said he has a shotgun in the tractor that he has to move every time he gets in. He told the deputies that he never got out of the tractor. Cpl. Cox told him that multiple witnesses stated he had gotten out of the tractor, but he denied it.

After listening to Mike continue his rant about government drones and his feet being shocked, he asked Cpl. Cox, if they were taking him to jail, and they told him that they were.

He requested to grab something from his wife, which they allowed, on the condition that a deputy would follow him to the camper. The deputies then walked over to the camper, and he opened the door. There was a shotgun at the doorway.

Mike then showed the deputy the rifle and told him that it was the rifle that was in the tractor during the incident. Mike said he was fixing the rifle, and it was a relic.

Mike was then placed into handcuffs and into a patrol vehicle.

Cpl. Cox spoke with Mike's girlfriend, who said he has been having serious mental health problems, that she is scared of him, and she has been gone for a period of time to get away from him. She told police that nothing physical had occurred to her; he had only threatened other people to her.

Mike was then transported to the Duchesne County Jail. While at the jail, Deputy Brown conducted a search of his person and located a vape with a light colored substance. He said the odor appeared to be marijuana and asked Mike what it was, but Mike told him it was his girlfriend's because he was wearing her pants.
