Duchesne County Sheriff's Office arrested a man for stealing property in the Fruitland area.

Fruitland, UT. (4-19-26)—The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office received a report of property being stolen near 40000 W US-40 in the Fruitland area.
Deputy Phillips met with the property owner, who stated that a white pickup with a bed rack came onto his property. The driver got out, hooked the truck up to a black utility trailer, drove over to the neighbors', and took a canoe.
The thief then drove to another shed, hitting it and causing damage, before going inside and stealing T-Posts and green-treated posts.
The owner showed the deputy pictures of the vehicle he had captured on his trailcam. The deputy could see a skull inside the vehicle on the dashboard, and the driver, who appeared to be a bald white male with a white beard, was in his 50s.
The owner told Deputy Phillips that he had found his stolen property and gave the deputy the address where the vehicle seen on the trailcam was parked.
Deputy Phillips drove by the property on a public road and observed a black utility trailer and a red canoe matching the description of the stolen property. He also saw a white pickup on the property with a bed rack and a skull on the dashboard.
The suspect was unlawfully entering someone's property, and the stolen items were in plain view from a public area. The deputy applied for a search warrant. The search warrant was approved by a judge and executed by Corporal Cox, Detective Weekes, Officer Larsen, Officer Greenwood, and Deputy Phillips.
The deputies went onto the property where they secured the utility trailer, a canoe, and the wooden posts, which were later taken by the owner.
While searching the property, Deputy Phillips located a male matching the suspect's description and spoke with him.
The suspect identified himself as 54-year-old Steven Kendall Radmall. Steven said he had no idea why the police were there and kept asking what was going on. Deputy Phillips told him they were there for the trailer and canoe that had been stolen. He claimed to have no knowledge of it.
The deputy told Steven that the vehicle on his property had been caught on camera, where the items had been stolen, and Steven replied that the truck belonged to someone else and that he hadn't driven it. The deputy took out a picture that the victim had sent him of the white truck, and it was identical to Steven's truck.
When the deputy showed Steven the picture, he became quiet and began avoiding answering the deputy's questions. When he was asked if he could tell the deputies where the other stolen property was, he told them to just take him to jail. Steven was then placed in handcuffs and taken to the Uintah Basin Medical Center for a medical clearance.
While obtaining the clearance, Deputy Phillips found that, within the last ten years, Steven had been convicted of a 3rd-degree felony in a prior theft case, was on felony probation with AP&P, and had a suspended license.
After obtaining medical clearance, he was transported to the Duchesne County Jail, where he was booked on Burglary, a 3rd Degree Felony; Theft with qualifying priors, a 3rd Degree Felony; Property Damage, a Misdemeanor B; and Driving on a Suspended License, a Misdemeanor C.
