A warrant is issued for the arrest of a male who assaulted his girlfriend

11/7/24

| Roosevelt, Ut. | October 15th, 2024 |

Officer Harrison was dispatched to the Uintah Basin Medical Center on a reported domestic violence.

The officer spoke with the victim, who said she and her boyfriend, 33-year-old Carl Richard Christensen, had been arguing, and it became physical. Carl became so angry the victim began to distance herself from him due to past physical abuse.

The victim stated Carl hit her with closed fists in the face, stomach, and other areas of the body. He slapped her across the face, kneed her in the back while on the ground, and bit her on the chest. Also, during the assault, the victim was physically restrained from leaving.

Officer Harrison saw the bruising, redness, swelling, and bite marks in the areas she explained where her injuries were. After the doctor consultation, the victim told the officer that she suffered two broken bones in her back from the assault.

Carl Christensen has prior assault domestic violence convictions on his record.

Officer Harrison sent messages to other agencies to locate Carl, and the residences where he is known to stay were checked without success. He is currently under felony supervision with AP&P, which was also contacted, but they haven't been able to locate Carl at this time.
