A Vernal man is being charged with 8 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a 17-year-old

On July 17, 2025, the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office received a Child Abuse and Neglect Report (CANR) regarding the sexual conduct of a minor.
The suspect in this case was identified as 43-year-old Hadgi Donsha Robinson, and the victim a 17-year-old female.
According to the CANR, the female reported she had been engaging in sexual activities with her moter's live in boyfriend Hadgi. She stated they had been watching pornography together and subsequently began having sexual intercourse.
The girl said that the encounters initially started out as consensual, but Hadgi was now pressuring her to engage in sexual activities even when she didn't want to. She revealed that the incounters with Hadgi began sometime between May and July 2025.
The young girl described the first incident occurring when her mother was out of town, and she and Hadgi had been watching pornography together, and he took her hand and placed it on his groin and she removed her hand in shock.
The girl described a couple of the most recent encounters occurring on June 12-19, 2025, when Hadgi told her that both of them would be in trouble if her mother found out, and he would go to jail.
The female told detectives she is afraid of Hadgi and doesn't know what he will do now that she has gone to the police.
During the investigation, the detectives found the sex toy and the lubricant that Hadgi had bought for the female. It was also found that Hadgi had recorded a video of himself and the young girl having sex without her knowledge, and he later showed the video to her.
Hadgi was interviewed at the Uintah County Sheriff's Office, where he admitted to purchasing the items for the girl but denied any sexual relations with her.
Hadgi Robinson was arrested and booked into the Uintah County jail.
Hadgi Robinson is currently on the Sex Offender Registry out of South Carolina.
