| Vernal, Ut. | March 21st, 2025 |

Officer Candelas responded to a residence in the 100 block of Vernal, Utah, on a violation of a stalking injunction.

A Nissan Murano registered to the victim was photographed at the residence, which is the home of a family member of 30-year-old Chantel Amber Holt, the respondent of the civil stalking injunction.

The officer called Chantel and asked if she was at her relative's home. Chantel denied this, stating that she was out in the city.

Officer Candelas met with the victim and asked if the Nissan was in their possession. The victim stated the vehicle was with their spouse in Price, Ut.

One of the family members drove past the RV park where the spouse was staying for the night in the Nissan Murano. While driving by, they observed two pairs of shoes outside the vehicle. The victim then contacted the Wellington Police Department and informed them that Chantel was inside the Nissan Murano, which was listed as protected property on the stalking injunction.

Officer Candelas contacted the Wellington Police Department, which informed him that Chantel was, in fact, inside the Nissan when they made contact with her. By being in the vehicle, Chantel violated the civil stalking injunction.

Chantel was released by the Wellington Police Department and was found in Vernal four days later and booked into the Uintah County Jail for stalking.

This is the second time in a month that Chantel Holt has violated the stalking injunction.

Chantel Amber Holt-Carmickle may post bail in the amount of $2,500.00
