Vernal City Police were dispatched to a domestic violence in progress. When officers arrived on scene, they spoke to a female, 23-year-old Kelcey Eileen Lammert.

Kelcey stated she and her boyfriend, who live together, were arguing. She explained that nothing had gotten physical, but she had thrown a picture of them at the wall and tossed his PlayStation 4 and TV down the hallway.

Kelcey also stated that while her boyfriend was trying to pack his belongings to leave, she threw his suitcase. All of this occurred in the presence of a three-month-old infant.

Her boyfriend explained they started arguing, and he called her a bitch, and Kelcey slapped him in the face and threw the picture of them at the wall. He said he tried to leave, but Kelcey refused to let him by standing in the doorway and throwing his clothes.

The male claimed the only time he physically touched Kelcey was to move her out of his way so he could leave the residence. The male said he picked Kelcey up and moved her to the side.

Officer Brewer confronted Kelcey about slapping her boyfriend, and she stated she did slap him in the face after he called her a bitch.

The officer was then advised by dispatch that Kelcey had a warrant out of Vernal City Justice Court on a $151 cash-only bail.

Kelcey Lammert was arrested and transported to the Uintah County Jail.
