- Two Speed Away From UHP Officer, Ends Badly
By Travis Uresk | July 21st 2022 | Drugs | Duchesne Co. | Myton | Myton, Utah Dec. 25th, 2021— Around 7:30 P.M. UHP spotted a car traveling east on SR-40 at speeds of 78 mph. The Officer activated his emergency lights and turned around to catch up to the vehicle. When the Officer caught up with the speeder, the car increased its speed to 135 mph. The vehicle then turned east onto Main Street in Myton, then south on Center Street, then east on 8000 south, reaching speeds up to 90 mph. Shortly the vehicle turned south on 1000 west and 8000 south. When the UHP Officer reached the corner, he could see the suspect's vehicle approximately 150 feet off the road on its top. The Officer placed both suspects in handcuffs and asked the driver why she was running. She stated, "she was supposed to check in with Uintah County Courts for probation and never did." Both suspects refused to identify themselves until BIA responded to the scene. Once BIA arrived, they confirmed it was tribal land, and the driver and passenger were both enrolled tribal members. UHP turned the case over to BIA and assisted them in the investigation. BIA identified the driver as Taina Pinnecoose and the passenger as Tia-Gina Myore. EMTs arrived and evaluated the two females. Taina stated her neck and back were sore and wanted to be transported to the UBMC by ambulance. BIA gave the ambulance permission to transport Taina to have her checked out at the hospital. But when the ambulance left, there were NO law enforcement officer(s) following them there. Tia-Gina refused treatment and said she was fine. When searching the vehicle, they found a glass marijuana pipe, a grinder, and some marijuana dab. According to statements in the affidavit. In the affidavit the UHP Officer wrote "I informed Taina a warrant will be issued out for her arrest, if she did not contact the courts." Here is a Warrant Of Arrest for Taina Pinnecoose PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW
- Local woman arrested after assaulting her children and stealing a car
Posted By Travis Uresk | July 14th 2022 | Child Abuse | Duchesne Co. | By Kate Belcher July 8th, 2022 Roosevelt City police arrested Karla Asencion Einerson July 5, after she stole a car and went in search of her three children. Einerson was headed to her brother's house. P.B. had picked up her children in Myton after one of them called to let him know they wouldn't see him that night because their mom, Einerson, was going to kill them. According to the statement from RPD officer Joshua Christensen, Einerson told P.B. she was going to shoot her children, he drove them to his home for safety. Einerson called P.B. and demanded the children be returned. A tracking app alerted P.B. that Einerson was driving towards his house, so he contacted dispatch and alerted he thought his sister was armed and had made threatening statements. P.B. put the children in his car and headed to the Roosevelt City Police Department. In the meantime, Uintah County dispatch coordinated with RPD to track the victims and the alleged assailant. Officer Christensen initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle Einerson was driving on Lagoon Street. She got out of the vehicle and told the officer that "the guy in the white truck has my kids." Officer Christensen told Einerson to wait in the vehicle while he worked with dispatch to figure out what was going on. She returned to the vehicle and sped off, running a stop sign in the process. She continued following her brother, who had driven to the Roosevelt Police Department. Officer Christensen pursued Einerson and detained her. While the officer had her detained, Deputy Burr of the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office arrived and took statements from Einerson's children. According to the kids, she forced her children to start walking to the cemetery in Myton earlier in the day, telling them she was going to kill them there. The children fled to a family member's house despite being threatened by Einerson that she would "shoot them in the head" if they went. The official statement further stated that shortly afterwards, Einerson arrived at the family member's house, where she assaulted her children, and assaulted the family member. One of the children called their uncle, P.B., and told him that their mom was going to kill them. P.B. picked them up and left. Einerson was charged with theft of a firearm or operable vehicle, child abuse with injury- intentional or knowing, three counts of threats of violence, three counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, failure to respond to officers signal to stop, speeding, and failure to stop at right-of-way stop signs. Due to their visible injuries, the children received medical attention and the Department of Children and Family Services was notified. Einerson was ordered to be held without bail due to the likelihood of violence against others and being a flight risk. - Uintah County man in Prison for sexual exploitation of a minor & trafficking
Posted By Travis Uresk | June 26th, 2022 | Dustin Lane Person | Feb. 13, 2020 | Dustin Lane Person, 34, is facing five counts of human trafficking of a child, a first-degree felony; and five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony. Person is being held without bail. A probable cause statement filed by an officer of the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office says the charges are relate to an incident reported in January. “Adult Probation and Parole was informed of a possible sexual exploitation of a minor due to a report made that a 9-year-old female … had possibly been given money in exchange for nude photographs. The alleged perpetrator was Dustin Person, a 34-year-old male, who had been on parole for two months due to a previous conviction involving sexual abuse of a 14 year old. “AP&P did a home visit where Dustin’s phone was taken due to the allegations.” The child in the current case said Person “gave her his android phone and asked that she take photos of her private parts in exchange for $5,” the statement says. The child told officials she was afraid Person would get angry, so complied, the statement says. Investigators served a search warrant on Person’s phone, and found five photos taken on Jan. 19, which had been deleted or placed in a trash bin the next day, the statement says. “Dustin claimed at first he did not know the photos were on the phone, but eventually agreed he had asked (the girl) to take the photos and provided her with $5,” the probable cause statement says. Person was convicted in 2013 on multiple counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and of lewdness. THE STATE OF UTAH, Plaintiff, vs. DUSTIN L. PERSON, Defendant. - Human Trafficking in the Land of Zion
by Travis Uresk| May 4, 2022| Human Trafficking, True Crime| Lee Barnard Feb 1, 2020 The first Anglo-European settlers, Mormon pioneers, arrived in the area now known as Utah in the late 1800s. They named the area Zion, which is ancient Hebrew for sanctuary or refuge. Human Trafficking in the land of Zion Utah and Zion has become known for the Mormon Religion (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). It is known for Families and many children. It is known for beautiful mountains and beautiful Temples. Unfortunately, in 2015, the beautiful State of Utah had the 36th highest National Human Trafficking Resource Center call volume of all 50 states. Fast Forward to 2020 and human trafficking, labor and sex, seems to be on the rise. First how do we identify a victim of trafficking. Well there’s questions that need to be asked but the victim must be in a safe environment. Ask them about their employment and how they are being paid. Easy question for most people to answer but to a young trafficking victim it’s surreal. What are their working and living conditions like? Can you leave your job if you want to? That question might invoke a fearful response. Same with asking them if they’re allowed to go to the bathroom, eat, or sleep when they want to. Do they have identification or documentation? Usually this has been taken from them. Trafficking victims are unable to answer scheduling questions or questions regarding living and working conditions. They are minors, fearful, timid, and submissive. They have obvious signs of physical and/or psychological abuse. Many times they’re with someone else and it may be impossible to break them apart. If that’s the case go with your gut and call the authorities. I recently went to a Human Trafficking symposium at the University of Utah sponsored by the Utah Attorney General’s Office. So why Utah of all places? Utah is known by pedophiles and predators as a “Target rich environment.” Pedophile’s victims are usually elementary aged and toddlers where predators target teenagers and pre-teens (tweens). With the religion brings families. Families bring kids and kids bring targets for the traffickers. That’s not the only reason. Utah is a drug and trafficking pipeline. With interstate 15 running East to West and Interstate 80 running North to South it is an easy travel route getting to borders, airports, and seaports. So how do they do it? So how do traffickers groom the trust of teenagers. We know elementary and below you’re looking at kidnapping but teenagers how? Do you know that 95% post their class schedules on social media along with other family or personal problems. This gives an insight about the victim for the trafficker. The trafficker will often times try and isolate the victim before even meeting them. Put the victim against their parents or friends. It is very subtle and gradual and they are very patient. Traffickers can be patient because they have more than one victim they are communicating with. They appear, of course, genuine and have consistent contact with the victim. They might go as far as to buy gifts, utilize flattery, attention, and secrecy. After all they must be trusted. With this alleged trust they can now build some emotional rapport with the victim. Simple right? Utah is making strides against human trafficking. It is a worldwide problem that has hit home. In 2017, Utah enacted a Sextortion law. Sextortion is only a small piece of the equation as social media and gaming has opened doors and have made it easy for the trafficker to enter your home without being there. If you have any suspicion of possible human trafficking in Utah contact the UTIP task force 1-801-200-3443. You can call the National Human Trafficking Resource Center at 1-888-373-7888 as well for any services or resources. Human Trafficking and the Church OPAL HARDGROVE OCTOBER 24, 2013 I was introduced to the world of human trafficking several years ago on a trip to Athens, Greece, in my role as director of new initiatives at Mission to the World (MTW). As I spoke with the pastor I was working with about my past experience with street children and my heart for working with people in exploitive situations, he made arrangements for me to visit a ministry that did outreach to the brothels in Athens. I had seen “Taken” and was shocked at the story it told, but nothing could compare to seeing women trapped in the horrors of being trafficked from their home countries to be sold into the world of “sex for sale.” The images I saw haunt me to this day, but I must say, many more have been added. I have had the opportunity to see the horrors of sex trafficking in Bulgaria, Thailand, Cambodia and sadly enough even here in our own country. Shortly after my trip to Greece I was introduced to a ministry here in Atlanta dedicated to the rescue of women caught in the sex trade. Their training and friendship opened my eyes to the need in our own country and also in my own back yard. The issue of human sex trafficking strikes at the very core of our families and church communities and is growing at a rapid pace throughout the world. A few numbers from a report from the Polaris Project shows the magnitude of the issue. There are an estimated 2 million children exploited by the commercial sex trade. The human sex trade is a $32 billion per year industry It is the second largest illegal business following drug sales and newer statistics show it is about to surpass the sale of drugs In the US, 14,000 – 17,000 people are trafficked into the US every year An estimated 100,000 – 300,000 children are prostituted in the US each year Average starting age of a victim in the US is 13 The list could go on. There is a lot to be done to stop the cancer of human trafficking and exploitation of those who are vulnerable to this trap. One might ask, is this really happening around me and if so, what can I do? I would say, it is happening around each of us on a daily basis. While it might not be out in the open, it is certainly there. From massage parlors, to truck stops, to pornography it touches all of us. Where does this fit in the role of the church? God has called His children to care for the persecuted and to reach out to those who are mistreated. While the mandate from Micah is used often, I think we must never grow deaf to the command to walk justly and do mercy. The church can become more aware of what is happening in their community in the realm of young girls and boys being lured into the business of sex trafficking. How can we do this? Be aware and sensitive to the signs that might be there, such as questionable massage parlors and nail salons. Note how desensitized we have become to the way women and young girls are portrayed in the movies we watch and the TV shows that are aired. Learning to turn them off is a beginning. Pray for God to raise up those who are willing to stand in the gap and be a spokesperson for the vulnerable ones who are easily drawn into the industry. Raise awareness in your congregations, schools and businesses of the growth of sex trafficking. With the rise of public media and internet usage, pornography has become one of the largest contributors to the demand side of sex trafficking. Mission to the World has teams across the globe that have taken the challenge to address the issue in their countries as a part of their church planting role. They have found organizations that are fighting the issue and joined with them as the arm of Christ to bring healing, helping hands to reach those who are exploited. In Atlanta, MTW has also organized a training opportunity for churches who are interested in learning more about the problem in the US and how they can be effective in their own communities. We are partnering with an Atlanta-based organization to bring together panels of experts from law enforcement, government agencies and private providers to share the issue, what they are doing and how they are all working together to stamp out the problem in our communities. There will also be opportunities to participate in street outreach, service projects, and ministry to those who have been rescued. The goal of the training is to equip participants in several ways: a) to be more aware of how to pray for the issue b) to recognize and become more aware of the problem in their communities c) to be equipped to take action or join with organizations in their community who are actively engaged in working with those caught in the world of trafficking. Talk to your kids, pay attention, take action! Special Victims Unit Detectives and investigators from multiple county and federal agencies are investigating reports of ritualistic child sexual abuse from as far back as 1990. *** PRESS RELEASE May 31, 2022 *** In April of 2021, an investigation began into ritualistic child sexual abuse and child sex trafficking that occurred in Utah County. - The Catholic Church: Pedophilia, Trafficking Children as Sex Slaves
Posted By Travis Uresk| The Truth About Pedophile Priests and Child Molestation in the Roman Catholic Church The Roman Catholic Church One of the reasons, tragically, that children are kidnapped and taken from their families is for child sex trafficking, which some have reported brings in more money than the illegal drugs and illegal gun trade, combined. by John P. Thomas Health Impact News The Roman Catholic Church is on the verge of an internal civil war. The battleground is between those who would liberalize the traditional definition of immoral sexual behavior for its clergy, and those who want to restore the conservative values of the Catholic faith as it has been known for more than a thousand years. The scandal involving pedophile priests and the cover-up of their crimes against children and young men is bringing the liberal/conservative clash into sharp focus. It is still a crime in the United States for an adult to have sexual encounters with boys and girls. Such crimes are called sexual assault or child molestation. [1] Those who commit such crimes are called pedophiles. There are no exceptions granted by these laws for members of the clergy. By focusing on the pedophile crimes committed by clergy of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) in this article, I am not overlooking the crimes other pedophile groups commit against children — Those acts are equally immoral and illegal! The focus of this article is on the types of criminal charges levied by the Pennsylvania grand jury investigation against predator priests and the cover-up of those crimes by the Roman Catholic hierarchy of bishops and cardinals. Clearly, Protestant churches also have clergy and staff that who have committed sex crimes, but the focus today is on the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). This is the first of three articles on pedophilia in the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). This article goes much deeper than one on one sex crimes against children. It also looks at the systematic cover-up of those crimes by the Catholic hierarchy. A future article will look at the trafficking of children for use as sex slaves and the use of children for ritualistic sacrifices. Another article will highlight the heroic Catholic priests and bishops who are risking their lives to tell the truth about what is happening in their church. Some of these whistleblowers are now in hiding in fear for their lives, while others have been killed or blackballed from parish work. The Consequences of Having been Sexually Molested as a Child are Devastating The lives of thousands of children have been destroyed by the network of pedophile priests. It often breaks the capacity to trust other people and cripples the ability to have healthy adult relationships with spouses and their own children. Some victims of child molestation find it impossible to hold down meaningful employment, because of their inability to interact with authority figures in the workplace. Perhaps worst of all, for many, the victims of child sexual assault have lost their ability to have a positive relationship with God. Sadly, many will never face the difficulty of marriage and employment, because the resulting shame, anxiety, and depression drove them to suicide. Underneath the sexual abuse of children, whether homosexual or heterosexual, there is a fundamental devaluing of human life. Perpetrators arrogantly see children as expendable beings to be used for their pleasure regardless of the consequences to the child. As a society, we have been learning to value our children and move beyond the notion that children are our expendable possessions. Sadly, as we see in the scandal that is rocking the Catholic Church today, there are apparently many who do not agree with the principle that children should be protected and defended from harm as a first priority. The long history of Catholic orders of priests and nuns taking care of widows and orphans — those who are sick, poor, disabled, or prisoners, and feeding the hungry — which goes back beyond the 14th century, is being marred by evil acts of child abuse. The disclosure of rampant sexual molestation, torture, and neglect of children by priests and nuns has become commonplace in the Catholic institutions that were intended to serve children. The widespread molestation of children by priests in local parishes throughout the United States [5, 11] has further broken the trust people once had in Catholic institutions. Child Sexual Molestation Must be Reported to Police as a Crime Most states require that incidences of child sexual abuse or molestation are to be reported to the police as a crime regardless of who commits the crime. The National Center on Child Abuse and Neglect defines child sexual assault as: “Contacts or interactions between a child and an adult when the child is being used for sexual stimulation of the perpetrator or another person when the perpetrator or another person is in a position of power or control over the victim.” Sexual abuse has been defined to include: “…inappropriate physical contact, making a child view sexual acts or pornography, using a child in making pornography, or exposing an adult’s genitals to a child.” Adults who commit repeated acts of child molestation are called pedophiles. Pedophiles are sexually attracted to children and want to use their sexual power to dominate and control someone who is smaller and weaker. It’s about using children for sexual gratification and about the building up of self-esteem. All pedophile acts are illegal. Is Pedophilia a Crime or a Mental Illness? From a mental health perspective, pedophilia is considered to be a mental illness. An opinion article published in The New York Times reports there is a movement in the Unites States asking for a softer response to pedophiles and to treat them as unfortunate victims of an illness. Some would even suggest that we consider pedophiles to have a disability that should provide them with protection by disability laws – since they can’t help being who they are. [ It may be true that some pedophiles experience sexual attraction to children and don’t act on their attraction (attraction is not a crime). However, for those who do act upon their impulses, pedophile acts still remain a heinous crime against innocent victims. The Hierarchy of the RCC Treats Child Molestation as a Personnel Matter Apparently, the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) has not considered child molestation of boys and girls by priests to be criminal activity. Rather, officials of the RCC consider child molestation and child rape by priests to be confidential personnel matters. The hierarchy treats perpetrators more like victims of an illness rather than as perpetrators of crimes. As we learned from the Pennsylvania grand jury report on sex crimes committed by priests in that state, priests were rarely disciplined for what is euphemistically called “inappropriate behavior” and were systematically moved from one church to another after being counseled and told to pray more when their sex crimes began to become public. Statistics show that 82% of pedophile sex crimes identified in the Pennsylvania grand jury report were against boys and 18% were against girls. $4 Billion Payment of Damages for Sex Crimes didn’t Make the Problem Go Away Sex crimes against children by RCC priests were sometimes resolved privately throughout the United States with large payouts of money in exchange for silence. Over 4 billion dollars was paid out to victims between 1950 and 2015 for crimes committed by priests. Reports from records kept by bishops of the RCC indicate that priests committed crimes against an estimated 15,000 children in these cities: Boston, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Bernardino CA, Oakland, San Francisco, San Diego, Lafayette LA, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Camden NJ, Bridgeport CT, Oklahoma City, Louisville KY, Chicago, Tucson, Seattle, Spokane, Fort Worth , Dallas, Omaha , Jackson MS, Milwaukee, Toledo, Davenport IA, Denver, Portland OR, Charleston SC, St. Petersburg FL, Miami, Orlando, St. Augustine, St. Louis, Fairbanks AK, Wilmington DE, Hartford CT, Burlington VT, Altoona-Johnstown PA , Manchester NH, Washington D.C., and in many other cities. It is estimated that only one third of these victims have come forward to file for damages. The Problem is Actually Much Larger than the RCC Bishops Report Priests actually accused of sex crimes against children total 5,700 to 10,000. Because of the statute of limitations, only a few hundred of these pedophile priests have been tried, convicted, and sentenced for their crimes. Criminal indictments in Pennsylvania for sex crimes against children have rocked the Catholic World including the Vatican. “More than 300 predator priests in Pennsylvania are accused of abusing over 1,000 children across seven decades,” a Pennsylvania Grand Jury reported in August of 2018. Their report decried a systematic cover-up of these crimes by the hierarchy of the RCC. “More than 1,000 child victims were identifiable, but the real number was ‘in the thousands,’ the grand jury estimated, given those children whose records were lost or who were afraid to ever come forward.” State Attorneys General in 10 states, including Missouri and Illinois, are investigating sex crimes committed by Catholic clergy in their states. In Nebraska, the state Attorney General is inviting people to come forward to tell him their stories of sex abuse in preparation for a possible investigation. In Michigan, Attorney General Bill Schuette ordered simultaneous surprise raids on the offices for each of the seven Catholic Church dioceses. Archbishop Claims that he didn’t know that Sex with Children was a Crime During a deposition about sex crimes against children, Archbishop Robert Carlson of St. Louis, Missouri, claimed that he couldn’t remember when he realized that a priest having sex with a child was a crime. He now knows, but can’t remember when he had this realization. The following clip from his testimony speaks volumes about how high-level Catholic clergy are trying to protect themselves and criminal priests who have sex with children. See: Testimony of Archbishop Robert Carlson from 2014. Most pertinent information begins at 3:45: It’s more than Individual Crimes – It is Interstate Conspiracy Evidence is mounting that high-level church officials, including many US bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and even Pope Francis, were aware of pedophile acts against young boys by priests, and they condoned these crimes by covering them up. They protected offending priests and shifted them between church parishes in different states when their criminal child molestation began to be exposed. The transfer of known pedophile priests between parishes in different states has triggered the possible application of federal racketeering laws known as RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations). Knowingly covering up criminal activity of pedophile priests and promoting the continuation of their crimes by sending them to other states could be seen as racketeering. Conviction under federal RICO laws could lead to the confiscating of Catholic Church assets throughout the United States. Fake News from Catholic News Organizations is Hiding the Full Story Many longtime Roman Catholics may be finding the preceding information hard to believe and may find the information in the remainder of this article beyond belief. Many have been getting their news about the RCC from tightly controlled and officially sanctioned media outlets of the RCC. They have been fed a steady diet of fake news from these news outlets saying that all is well with the church. However, a group of conservative Roman Catholics, historically faithful to the traditional values of the RCC, has established an alternative news organization to present the truth about the criminal and moral failings of priests and leaders in their church. They are revealing the truth that not all is well. Their goal is to cleanse the church of moral and criminal corruption, which they see as closely related to the existence of a self-protecting network of priests and bishops who have a history of molesting children and sexually assaulting young male seminarians. This news service is called “Church Militant.” They recently published a commentary about fake news that is being distributed by many RCC news services, which are controlled by Catholic Bishops or Catholic institutions. One of their investigative journalists is Michael Voris. Mr. Voris is the author of Militant: Resurrecting Authentic Catholicism published in 2016. Mr. Voris is one of the key spokespersons for the alternative RCC news service – Church Militant. He explains that most mainstream Catholic news organizations report the “news” that the establishment of the church wants reported. They function more like press release readers than journalists. Mr. Voris stated: There is something sort of floating around in the Catholic ether that needs to be addressed head-on. It is the credibility of Catholic “news” outfits that have close association with the church establishment – and those associations can be either direct or indirect financial relationships. Some of them are directly dependent on the bishops such as CNS (Catholic News Service), which is the bishop’s news outfit. And then there are others, many others in fact, that are closely related financially and are dependent on keeping good relations with bishops like CNA (Catholic News Agency), EWTN, Relevant Radio, even Bill Donohue at the Catholic League to a degree because he needs the approval of the establishment to keep appearing that everything he says is trustworthy – like all of them – so he can keep getting paid. These outfits cannot afford to fall out of favor with the bishops because they will suffer tremendously in the area of advertising or exposure or having the seal of approval taken away or getting access to various church events and personalities for interviews and all of that. In short, they are beholden to the establishment and therefore cannot take too great of a chance of running afoul of them. This is also true of multiple Catholic radio outfits that are essentially EWTN affiliates. They are allowed to air EWTN programming for free, but they must tow the party line because if they don’t then the programming will be taken away and now they are high and dry without very much to broadcast. … At the end of the day there is this sort of monolithic structure of Catholic news outfits that in the end aren’t really news. Here is the rule of thumb, if they are on good terms with the establishment – WATCH OUT. They report to you only so much. There is a line that they will not cross because since they are to varying degrees dependent on bishops that would be professional suicide and well everyone likes a paycheck. … They cannot be relied upon to bring you the entire truth in complete context. I’m sorry, having spent my entire professional career over three decades in secular media as a professional – truth and context are everything. Right now, many of these outfits are more PR outfits for the bishops rather than news outlets. Where were these Catholic journalists for all these years, those who had the inside track on such knowledge when children and seminarians were being raped by homosexual clergy? Again, this has gone on for decades. Where were they when the faith life of the church was being completely gutted by malevolent men in bishop’s robes? They were nowhere to be found. They were off collecting their paychecks, reading and printing diocesan press releases telling you everything is good in the church. Watch the full commentary from Michael Voris: The Problem of Sex Crime Cover-up has Risen to the Vatican It is now believed that Pope Benedict’s resignation in 2013 may have been triggered by a 300-page Dossier that he received reporting the immoral behavior and sex crimes of priests in the RCC. Allegations are now being raised against Pope Francis which suggest that he is part of the cover-up of criminal activity by priests. He continues to be silent on recent allegations being made against him and pedophile clergy by faithful Catholics who are demanding that he take the lead in addressing the sexual scandals in the RCC. Watch the Vortex commentary for the full details about the silence of Pope Frances: Pope Francis Blocks Investigation into Sex Crime Cover-up by a Cardinal Cardinal Gerhard Müller, the Vatican’s former doctrine chief, revealed that just months into the papacy of Pope Francis, the Pope blocked an investigation into sex abuse allegations against Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor. A member of the “St. Gallen Mafia,” Murphy-O’Connor played a key role in electing Francis to the papacy. The St. Gallen Mafia was a group of cardinals and bishops that worked for years to elect Jorge Bergoglio (now known as Francis) as Pope. The group wanted a drastic reform of the Church to make it much more modern and current. Did Pope Francis Know about the Rape of Deaf Students by Priests? CBS News reported on the sex abuse scandal at the Antonio Provolo Institute with locations in Italy and Argentina. Hundreds of deaf children at both institutes were serially raped by Catholic priests over several decades. When the abuse was exposed in Italy, the priests were transferred to a location in Argentina where under Archbishop Jorge Bergoglio, now Pope Francis, they continued their crimes against children at the Argentinian school. Conclusion: Time to Speak Out Against Sexual Molestation by Catholic Priests This is clearly a time for Roman Catholics to voice their opinions about the crimes going on in their church. The practice of being silent about sexual molestation and letting the hierarchy take care of the matter is coming to an end, because the criminal justice system is starting to do what the church hierarchy failed to do during the last 70 years. When I read excerpts from the 1,400 page Pennsylvania Grand Jury report on sex crimes committed by priests, I was deeply saddened to read reports such as the following: By a man testifying before the Grand Jury on October 18, 2016: The man came forward in 1994 and reported he had been sexually molested by Father Guy Marsico while at St. Leo the Great (in Rohrerstown). Marsico asked the boy’s parents for permission for the boy to spend the night at the rectory. The boy’s parents knew he wanted to be a priest and granted permission for the boy to stay overnight. The boy went to the rectory to stay overnight. Marsico had boxes on a spare bed. Marsico told the victim he could not remove the boxes and that he had to sleep in the same bed with Marsico. Marsico made the boy undress. Marsico gave the boy full body massages and touched the boy’s penis. Marsico put his mouth on the boy’s penis. The boy stated that Marsico and he slept together in the same bed overnight. The boy also blacked out for a period of time due to fear. The boy was 13 years old at the time. The boy disclosed that he told his mother about the abuse when he was 14 years old. His mother did not tell anyone. The boy told his father about the abuse when he was 16 years old. His father did not tell anyone. The boy felt strong enough to report the abuse to the Diocese of Harrisburg. Diocesan officials confronted Marsico. Marsico admitted to sleeping in the same bed with the boy and giving him massages. Marsico stated that he “brushed his penis aside” when massaging the boy’s stomach and pelvic area. Marsico sent the boy a letter of apology. The Diocese of Harrisburg agreed to pay for prescription medications and counseling for the boy. The boy later found out that his counselor reported what occurred during his counseling to the Diocese. The boy disclosed that he attempted suicide in 1986. Apparently, it is common for Catholic parents to learn about sexual molestation of their children and to do nothing about it. I was raised Roman Catholic in the 1960s and was somehow indoctrinated to believe that priests and nuns were special people who shouldn’t be questioned. It appears that kind of training was common, and these parents and many other Catholic parents just weren’t willing to stand up for their children when confrontation of a priest and his crimes was needed. See: Excerpts from the grand jury report on child sex abuse in 6 Pennsylvania Roman Catholic dioceses If there was ever a time to speak out about cases of sexual molestation, now is the time. Regardless of the state where you live, if you have been molested by a priest or nun, or you are the parent of a child who has been molested, then you may wish to file a report with your local law enforcement agency. You also may wish to contact the attorney general’s office in your state and provide the office with your testimony about what happened. About the Author John P. In the years we have covered the topic of “medical kidnapping” and child abductions through child social services, we have exposed the corruption behind these “legal” kidnappings, and the reasons why they happen.
- Church Pedophiles & Child Sex Trafficking Nests Intersect by The Thousands
Posted By Travis Uresk| May 31st 2022| The lists are trickling out, but are people seeing the bigger picture and just how widespread is this? Do people understand they have the power to stop this? from Corey’s Digs: February 26, 2019 Do not turn a blind eye. Pedophilia goes far beyond the walls of the church, and spreads much like the plague, infesting local communities and infiltrating daycares, schools, and foster care, while many remain protected by local community leaders and officials. Child sex trafficking and church pedophiles are rampant, and the lists being disseminated by churches across the country, pointing to pedophile priests and clergy, most of which have long been deceased, is a swift way to clean their hands of it, with false transparency. What they don’t want people to know, is just how far this truly reaches, and the fact that teachers, attorneys, police officers, sheriffs, politicians, and even judges are in their “pedophile family,” making sure their secrets are safe, rather than the victims. This is dark subject matter that is crucial for all to read in its entirety, in order to understand the true scope of what is happening to children across this country. Do not turn a blind eye – people must combat this for the children. This report will illustrate just how deep these nests go, the profoundly disturbing connections, detail of specific cases with numerous additional case links, show how communities are infiltrated, and what to pay very close attention to in one’s surroundings. Many churches are involved, not just the Catholic Church, who has the third highest total number of local congregations in the US, with 17,651 parishes. That said, it is important to touch on the Vatican in this report, due to significant statements and lack of action that has taken place. Let’s put this in perspective. In 2018 the Pennsylvania diocese released their list of 301 predator priests who sexually abused over 1,000 child victims. Since that report was released, investigations ensued into clergy in 14 states by attorneys general. New Jersey released a list of more than 180 priests. The Houston Chronicle uncovered 20 years of abuse by the Southern Baptist Convention, resulting in 700 victims, while those leaders who knew, did nothing. The Louisville KY diocese identified 48 priests. Bishops covered up the abuse by 118 Catholic clergy in Buffalo. In the California Bay Area, the list of priest sex offenders is currently at 212. Two Roman Catholic Jesuit provinces that cover nearly half the US, recently released a list of 153 priests and ministry leaders of sexual abuse that dates back to the 1950s. In a 2010 report by three advocacy groups, nearly 60% of Chicago’s Roman Catholic parishes have had a priest publicly accused of sexually abusing a child. In 2018, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan revealed there were nearly 700 clergymen in Illinois that have been accused of child sexual assault. In 2017, six families with nine children filed a lawsuit against LDS – The Corporation of the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, alleging that LDS leaders knew one of their members was abusing children for years, and they covered it up. Is this nightmare beginning to sink in yet? This is a mere sampling. Continue reading. Hundreds of lists have been released across 28 states thus far, and we haven’t even touched on the child trafficking aspect in connection with churches. There needs to be an interactive map created, with pins in every church denomination across the country. The clickable pin would reveal names, dates, and charges of all clergy who have been involved in sexually abusing children, as well as those who covered it up. This is a great idea for someone who wants to develop this app. Italy and Poland have created maps worth looking at, to see just how widespread this issue is. A brilliant interactive map of L.A.’s pedophile priests was created back in 2012 by Social Connect. This is the type of map that needs to be created across the entire country, by state. Make no mistake, pedophiles sharing children, and child sex trafficking go hand-in-hand in these nests they build. Just recently three pastors from Ohio were indicted on child sex trafficking charges, sharing the children, while operating out of multiple facilities. This case is illustrated further down, along with other cases involving child sex trafficking, a church involved with child sexual abuse and mutilations of cats for satanic rituals, a nest in Kentucky with a Judge sentenced to 20 years, and the indictments of countless other pedophiles involved in atrocities against children. What is important to absorb, is the fact that these people exist everywhere, and choose positions of work where children thrive. It is critical to be observant of one’s surroundings, to be able to spot the nests, and to be deeply aware of this epidemic, so as to protect ALL children Shamed: Pope Francis says "Accusers Are Friends or Relatives of the Devil" The Pope was recently addressing pilgrims from the Italian diocese of Benevento, where he stated: Whose is the office of the accuser! The devil! And those who spend their life accusing, accusing, accusing, are – I will not say children, because the devil does not have any – but friends, cousins, relatives of the devil. He who loves the Church knows how to forgive, because he knows that he himself is a sinner and is in need of God’s forgiveness. Is the Pope trying to shame victims who are only recently seeing an admittance from the Church, of sexual child abuse dating back to the 1950’s – victims, who’s perpetrators are long since dead? Victims who “accused” but never saw justice, and instead witnessed these men carry out their positions within the Church, while they continued to abuse other children. The Pope now states that these “accusers” are friends or relatives of the Devil, and if they love the Church they will know how to forgive. All the while, he sits on his thrown beneath a magnificent sculpture called ‘The Resurrection’ which depicts Jesus with a seemingly skeletal tail, surrounded by skulls, as the Pope peers out to his audience seated in a hall, fashioned to look like that of a snake. Judge of Vatican’s Highest Appellate Court, Official of Vatican Embassy in D.C., and Vatican Diplomat – Child Sex Abuse and Child Pornography Charges In 2018, Monsignor Pietro Amenta, one of 22 judges of the Roman Rota accepted a plea bargain on charges of sexual molestation and having 80 pornographic images on his computer, some involving minors. From 1996-2012 he served as an official of the Vatican’s Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, prior to becoming a judge in 2012. In 2018, Monsignor Carlo Alberto Capella, former official of the Vatican embassy in Washington D.C., was sentenced to five years for using a computer to download and distribute pornographic images of children engaged in sexually explicit acts. In 2015, Archbishop Józef Wesolowski, a Vatican diplomat, died while under a form of house arrest, after facing charges of child abuse while in the Dominican Republic. They all cover for one another, and it’s all beginning to percolate to the surface, in the public eye. The recent Chilean scandal, where the bishops and the Pope were essentially covering for one of their own, is a perfect example of this. These are only a few of the thousands who have sexual abuse claims against them. Perhaps this shines a little light on why the Pope would like to keep this quiet, as in the past, and shuns accusers for daring to keep a spotlight on one of the world’s biggest and fastest growing tragedies of all time – pedophilia and child trafficking. Do not turn a blind eye.
