(Vernal, Utah) On February 13th, 2026, Cpl. Ross was dispatched to Silver Pines on a stalking detail. It was reported that a surveillance camera was found inside a vent in the master bedroom of the Victim's residence.

The Victim stated she saw something in the air vent in her bedroom, located above the door frame. She stated she was concerned because it was pointing towards her bed and bathroom, and was unaware of how long it had been there. The Victim was concerned about the camera as it was pointed in a direction that would have captured her, possibly nude or utilizing the bathroom facilities.

The Victim stated she had removed the camera after finding it inside the vent above her bed, and that she had been receiving text messages from her ex-boyfriend, 25-year-old Brandon Carl Bradshaw, regarding conversations he was not a part of or had no knowledge of.

Brandon would message the Victim, asking who she was talking to and implying he knew what she was talking about. The Victim provided multiple screenshots of messages between herself and Brandon.

The Victim told Cpl. Ross, she had received messages from Brandon stating that there was possibly a device he was using to receive the information in different parts of the apartment. She said that Brandon would change the location of a device after she looked for it, but didn't find anything. Brandon messaged the Victim demanding to see her phone call logs after he stated she was lying about talking to someone.

The woman told the officer about a similar incident a few months prior, in which a family member found a camera in the living room vent. The Victim stated she recognized the camera and had seen it in Brandon's bag before he left.

There were also multiple messages and phone calls between the Victim and Brandon. Throughout the messages, it was seen that Brandon sent multiple messages in a row before the Victim responded. The Victim stated on Thursday, February 12th, Brandon called her 12 times between approximately 8:50 PM and 10:40 PM.

Cpl. Ross called Brandon and told the officer he was currently out of state but didn't disclose his location. He declined to meet with Cpl. Ross said he would only send information through email or phone, but would not provide the officer with his cell phone number. Brandon told the officer he “Doesn’t see a need to meet, and he wouldn’t be on his phone.”

Brandon stated he was unsure of the exact model or brand of camera and that he discarded the cameras outside of the apartment complex. Brandon later stated that he had canceled his Arlo account on the Friday he voluntarily moved out of the apartment.

He also said he had placed cameras in the vent above the living room, in the vent in their child's room, and in the master bedroom vent. Brandon stated that the cameras were pointed at the bedrooms' windows and the living room door. He stated he placed the camera in the Victim's room sometime between September and October of 2025.

Brandon claimed he had spoken with the Victim about the cameras and that she was aware of where he had placed them. He said the Victim later told him she no longer wanted the cameras in the apartment. Brandon told her to remove them if she wanted them gone. Brandon also claimed he was not listening in on the Victim's conversations, but would make assumptions about what she was doing when they exchanged text messages.

Brandon had told the Victim that her friend had been contacting him about "stuff" regarding their relationship. The Victim stated that when this occurred, Brandon told her she was currently on the phone with a friend. The Victim raised specific topics to test whether the camera was operational. The Victim said she received a message from Brandon shortly after regarding that specific topic. Brandon then told the Victim that he did not "plant" anything in the residence and was only doing it to mess with her and to make her look stupid, and the information he received was from her friends, who contacted Brandon.

On Sunday, February 15th, Cpl. Ross attempted to contact Brandon by phone, but was unsuccessful. He attempted multiple times, but Brandon continued to ignore the officer's calls on Thursday, February 19th, Cpl. Ross was contacted by Brandon's attorney, saying that he would only contact Cpl. Ross, through his attorney, from now on.

Cpl. Ross contacted the Victim again, and she stated Brandon had recently returned from visiting his family in Idaho and found on his Snapchat account that he appeared to be in the Heber City area.

Brandon engaged in multiple courses of conduct by sending material to the individual by any means for the purpose of obtaining or disseminating information about the Victim. He used a computer, the Internet, text messaging, or any other electronic means to commit an act that is a part of the course of conduct for stalking. Brandon intentionally or knowingly engaged in these courses of conduct directed at the Victim that caused the Victim to suffer emotional distress.

Brandon utilized a camera that he acknowledged he placed concealed in a vent in the Victim's bedroom for the purpose of viewing any portion of the individual's body regarding which the individual has a reasonable expectation of privacy, whether or not that portion of the body is covered with clothing; without the knowledge or consent of the individual; and under circumstances in which the individual has a reasonable expectation of privacy.

During one of the conversations, Brandon accuses the Victim of talking to someone as she had her son sleeping in her room. Brandon utilized the camera to commit voyeurism, which is a domestic violence-enhanced charge, in the presence of a child.

Brandon stated he intentionally contacted the Victim to "mess" with her and contacted her multiple times in succession after each message or phone call. Brandon intentionally intimidated, threatened, harassed, frightened, or disrupted the electronic communications of the Victim by making repeated contact by means of electronic communications, regardless of whether a conversation ensued.

Based on the above information, Cpl. Ross hereby requests an arrest warrant for Brandon Carl Bradshaw, D.O.B. 05/31/2000.

The arrest warrant was recalled, and Brandon Bradshaw was taken into custody.
