Travis Uresk

5/20/24

| Maeser, Ut. | May 17th, 2024 |

A Uintah County Deputy was dispatched to an address in Maeser on a report of a sexual assault.

Deputy Lyman spoke with the 18-year-old female over the phone, and then went to the address she was currently at and then discussed the incident in further detail.

The victim stated she went to a residence with 37-year-old Jeremy Michael Bauerkemper.

The victim was making other plans, and Jeremy kept talking about changing her plans. While at the residence, the victim stated she was sitting on the couch when Jeremy came over and sat beside her, putting his arm around her.

The victim stated his arm was wrapped around her neck; he then put his hand down her shirt and ran his hand across her chest just below her collarbone. She pulled her shirt up and removed Jeremy's hand. This happened twice, according to the victim.

Jeremy then laid down on the couch and put his head on the victim's lap shortly before taking his hand and placing it on the victim's vaginal area on the exterior of her clothing.

The victim stated that this happened twice, and while Jeremy's hand was on her vaginal area, he maintained a grip on her thigh. During this encounter, Jeremy tried rubbing the victim's arm, hands, and thigh. Jeremy also tried hugging and kissing the victim, and the victim then left.

Jeremy was taken into custody and transported to the Uintah County Jail, where he was booked on the charge of Forcible Sexual Abuse, a 2nd Degree Felony.
