Female lies to police about getting her tooth knocked out by her boyfriend during a heated argument.

Roosevelt, UT (4/11/26)—At around 11:45 pm, officers with the Roosevelt Police Department were called to a report of an assault on Lagoon St.

Officer Wheeler and Officer Harrison arrived at the residence on Lagoon Street and were met by the caller, 24-year-old Emma Elaine King. She stated she had been in an argument with her boyfriend, which she claimed he had punched her in the face, and knocked out a tooth.

Emma refused to further identify the suspect or provide additional details.

The police officers saw no visible injuries to Emma, including no missing teeth, swelling, or redness that was consistent with her story.

Police spoke with Emma's boyfriend, and he stated that during the argument, she became physical, attempted to choke him, and hit him multiple times in the face. The officer observed visible injuries on the boyfriend, including a swollen lip, facial swelling, bleeding from the lip, and red marks around his neck consistent with his statement.

Given the conflicting statements, the lack of injury to Emma, and the visible injuries to her boyfriend, it is consistent with his account. Emma King was placed under arrest for domestic violence assault.
