Deputy Pratt with the UCSO, DCFS, and Uintah County Sheriff detectives, executed a search warrant in Ballard. During the search, they located meth, drug paraphernalia, and other evidence of illegal drug use.

30-year-old Harley Web Christensen was found inside the home and detained for safety reasons during the search for illegal narcotics.

While Deputy Pratt gathered items from his truck, Harley asked to speak with him. He admitted having drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the home, a meth pipe on a Bluetooth speaker, and Methamphetamine in a container in the bathroom.

In a small backpack with snacks at the foot of the children's bed was a doctor's appointment reminder card for 35-year-old Baquita Danica Harris, along with multiple straws, a glass vial containing a white powdery substance consistent with Methamphetamine, and plastic bags with drug residue.

In the bathroom, accessible to both adults and children, was another backpack containing straws and baggies with residue. In plain view, a meth pipe on top of a Bluetooth speaker. The investigators also found a white powdery substance on the kitchen counter that was collected for testing and tin foil with burn residue and straw in a dresser drawer.

The proximity of the drugs and paraphernalia to the children's bed in the shared room, they could easily access these hazardous materials.

A drug test authorized in the DCFS warrant and administered by the Uintah County Jail showed that Baquita and Harley were positive for Methamphetamine.

Baquita was arrested for possession of Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, and an active statewide warrant.

The drugs and paraphernalia were collected and booked into evidence, and the children were taken into custody by DCFS personnel on the scene.

While detained, Harley slipped his handcuffs off and removed a vape he had hidden in his shoe. He was additionally charged with obstruction of justice and possession of THC.

Harley Christensen was also booked on an 8th District Court warrant for assault on a pregnant person, domestic violence in the presence of a child, and damaging a communication device.

Baquita Harris may post bail in the amount of $4,000.00.

The court orders that Harley Christensen is to be held without bail.
