Vernal, Ut.- On 9/2/23, Officer Elmer and other Officers responded to a juvenile problem at the Silver Pines Apartments. The call came in as multiple people were in the apartment complex's hallway.

One subject kicked the doors, and others ran, saying they didn't want to be stabbed. When Officer Elmer arrived, he was advised that multiple people had left the area and was able to speak with a few individuals who were still at the residence.

After speaking with these individuals and gathering written statements, 20-year-old Kayla Darlene Seaver was one of the suspects involved in a fight at the residence.

During the investigation, it was learned that Kayla had been told to leave the residence earlier. Kayla then left and later returned to the apartment with two other males and walked back inside the apartment uninvited back, and they got into a fight with others at the apartment.

While talking to Kayla, she admitted that she was drinking at the apartment earlier and then left willingly.

It was reported that Kayla returned to the residence to get more shots and got into a fight with another female. After the fight, Kayla left the area because someone yelled that the cops were at the residence.

After gathering all the information on the incident, Kayla was placed under arrest and then transported to the Uintah County Jail, where she was booked for the consumption of alcohol by an adult minor and for burglary in a dwelling.
