By Travis Uresk 4-10-25 | Vernal, Ut. | April 8th, 2025 | Uintah County Deputies responded to North Vernal Avenue to a 9-1-1 unknown call. Upon arriving at the scene, the deputies were met by an elderly male who said his girlfriend's nephew had assaulted him. While police spoke with the man, an odor of alcohol could be detected coming from his person. He became emotional when telling deputies that he had bothered the poor, decent people living down the street. Deputy Anderton
