The information given at the time was a male calling, saying his wife was slapping the shit out of him. The deputy arrived on the scene shortly after the call and observed a man seated in a chair on the residence's front porch. Deputy McDavid walked up to the man and could see he had blood on both sides of his face, and asked what had happened.
