By Travis Uresk 3/22/25 | Vernal, Ut. | March 20th, 2025 | At around 9 PM, Sgt. Watt was driving North on Vernal Ave when a vehicle turned onto Vernal Ave from 600 North. The car failed to stop and turned the corner at a high rate of speed. As the vehicle rounded the corner, the headlights went side to side, like the car was losing grip and spinning its tires. As the car passed the officer, it was going well over the speed limit. The officer turned around to stop the vehicle.
