Police responded to a domestic call, and when they arrived, a female, 29-year-old Kaylee Rosann Beasley, was standing outside her residence.

While speaking with police, Kaylee admitted that she and her husband had been arguing throughout the day while drinking alcohol.

Deputy Russell could smell the odor of alcohol coming from her person while they spoke and asked her about the altercation, but her story was sporadic.

The deputy went inside the residence to speak with Kaylee's husband, who said they had been arguing, but it turned physical. He said Kaylee grabbed a pair of scissors, swigging them at him, cutting his left shoulder blade.

The victim stated Kaylee had jumped on his back, choking him, resulting in his shirt being ripped. When the deputy asked where the scissors were, he stated Kaylee had taken them outside with her.

Kaylee and her husband both said there were two children upstairs who were present during the altercation.

Deputy Russell went back outside to talk with Kaylee, and she took him to a chair near the front door. She moved a few items, and the scissors that the victim had described were located.

It was determined by Deputy Russell that there was probable cause to arrest Kaylee Beasley for aggravated assault-domestic violence.
