3/23/24

On March 16, 2024, Cpl Ross was patrolling the area of 300 East 100 South in Vernal, Utah, when he saw a male on a bicycle matching the description of 64-year-old Wesley Dean Hardinger.

It was found through a local search that Wesley had an active state-wide warrant for his arrest out of Vernal Justice Court.

Cpl Ross approached Wesley and told him about his warrants and informed him he would be under arrest.

Before placing Wesley in handcuffs, he reached into his front hoodie pocket and tossed a loaded meth syringe next to the officer's feet.

Wesley Hardinger was secured in Cpl Ross' patrol vehicle and transported to the Uintah County Jail (UCJ) to be booked on the drug charges below and the warrant.
