On Friday at around 12:38 AM, Vernal City Officers were dispatched to 1410 S 675 E on a report of a group of disorderly partygoers in the parking lot.
Sgt Cannon arrived at the address and found several young adults yelling.
As the officer approached, it appeared four individuals were trying to calm down a shirtless male, later identified as 19-year-old Hunter Dan Dimick.
Hunter was yelling, slurring his words, and had blood on his hands and knees.
Sgt Cannon announced himself as a police officer and tried to get Hunter to stop his actions. Hunter continued so he was secured in handcuffs.
The officer tried speaking with Hunter, but he continued to be belligerent and yell at the other individuals. He was asked to stop yelling but continued. At one point, Hunter attempted to kick one of the other involved parties while in handcuffs.
Hunter was discovered at the other involved party's residence and began causing problems. Others tried to get him home, but he refused to leave.
It appeared Hunter's injuries were caused by falling on the ground.
Hunter was transported to Uintah Basin Hospital, where he submitted to a portable breath test that showed positive for alcohol at a .257 BrAC.
Hunter was eventually cleared by medical staff and transported to the Uintah County Jail.
Hunter Dan Dimick may post bail in the amount of $1,270.00.
If Hunter posts bail as stated above, he is hereby ordered to be released subject to the following conditions:
• Promise to appear for all required court proceedings
• Promise to not commit any criminal offense
• Report your contact information and any change in address, phone, or email to the Court and your attorney within one business day of the change
• Complete Pretrial Supervision intake appointment within 72 hours after jail release
• Receive hearing date reminders
• Report in person 1x per month for supervision appointment
• Report to Pretrial Supervision immediately after jail release
