UHP Arrests A Female For DUI In Naples

UHP was dispatched to a possible intoxicated driver at 1599 East US-40 in Naples.
The call notes stated from the complainant: In a blk jeep - approx 40 yo native fem wearing green hoodie green sweats she is intoxicated - neg weapons seen - parked in the driveway of a home just south of Naples curve.
While en route, Trooper Willoughby arrived and asked dispatch to perform a records check on the 27-year-old Romane Besslene Cesspooch. Dispatch returned, stating that her license had been revoked for a mandatory offense.
Trooper Ryan arrived on the scene and spoke with Romane, who said she was driving around as she pointed to the Jeep. Trooper Ryan asked what she was doing, and she answered that she was driving to Ft. Duchesne, where she lived.
During the conversation, the trooper could detect the odor of alcohol coming from Romane's breath as she spoke. When speaking, she wouldn't make sense of everything she was saying, and she struggled to stand upright without stumbling.
Trooper Ryan asked Romane if she had been drinking any alcohol, and she said yes. When asked what she had drunk, Romane stated they were drinking and pointed to the Jeep that no one else was in.
The trooper asked if she would be willing to perform the field sobriety tests, to which she consented.
After tests were completed, Trooper Ryan believed Romane was too impaired to be operating a motor vehicle safely.
Romane Cesspooch was arrested for DUI. During the Jeep's inventory, an open container of Buzz Ball liquor was found in the front cup holder. Multiple small containers were empty, and numerous large containers were on the passenger side floorboard. One of the large containers was empty. There was also a metal grinder with marijuana inside.
A records check of Romane's license showed she is an alcohol-restricted driver and is required to have an ignition interlock system installed in her vehicle. Still, she had no interlock system installed in her vehicle.
A criminal history check showed Romane had been convicted of a DUI in 2017 and 2021, which would enhance this charge to a felony.
