On 11/19/24, the Uintah Basin Narcotic Strike Force (UBNSF) made arrangements to meet with a confidential informant (CI) regarding the purchase of controlled substances.

The CI reported that they could purchase methamphetamine and cocaine from an individual known as 35-year-old Keith Travis McClure.

One of the agents met with the CI at a prearranged location along with three other agents to assist with the controlled buy. UBNSF agents maintained audio and visual surveillance as the CI traveled to the buy location and returned to the prearranged location.

The CI reported driving directly to Keith McClure's residence at 568 S 1900 W, where McClure met them at the door. The CI entered the residence with McClure, and the drug transaction took place inside, where McClure handed them methamphetamine and cocaine.

The CI then returned to the prearranged location and turned over the methamphetamine and cocaine to the agents. The CI confirmed that McClure personally handed them the baggie containing the narcotics before receiving the money.

The CI also stated they had known McClure for approximately seven months and had previously purchased illegal narcotics from him and his girlfriend. They were informed that McClure could also sell illegal narcotics independently.

Later, the agents weighed and booked 13.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 0.7 grams of suspected cocaine into evidence at the Naples City Police Department.

McClure was arrested and booked into the Uintah County Jail on 03/05/2025. He was booked on the following charges:

Distribution of a Controlled Substance-Felony 2
