(Duchesne County–2/4/2026) The Duchesne County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence regarding an assault that had occurred, and that is currently pending.

48-year-old Jeremias Brian Mullins is currently on AP&P, has additional charges filed against him in other courts, and is a registered sex offender.

During the compliance check done by AP&P, it was discovered that Jeremias had been using meth and had drug paraphernalia. He is currently incarcerated at the Duchesne County Jail and was booked in on February 4, 2026, on a 72-hour hold by AP&P pending their investigation of additional charges.

Jeremias admitted to using drugs in his home a few days before his arrest and tested positive for meth on the UA administered by AP&P. He gave the police his paraphernalia, which was located in his bedroom, hidden under a pair of pants. When asked when Jeremias lapsed, he said he didn't. He said he used to be when an individual named "Cowboy" was there a week ago, and he left three days ago.

On 2/9/26, Agent Hernandez found an account on Facebook listed to Jeremias. He has been on the sex offender registry since 2010, and the police verified that this Facebook account is not listed on the registry, which is a violation. Jeremias knowingly failed to register the account and or provided false or incomplete information on the registry.

The Facebook account has been active since 2022, and the last photo update listed shows Jeremias on his motorcycle. This photo, posted on April 11, 2025, shows that Jeremias is still using the account.

Jeremias Mullins is being charged with:

Failing to register or providing false or incomplete information is a 3rd degree felony, 1 count.

Possession or use of a controlled substance, Schedule I/II/analog, Misdemeanor A 1 count.

The use or possession of drug paraphernalia is a Misdemeanor B 1 count.
