Roosevelt, Utah—On March 24th, 2026, Officer Bellon responded to a fight where two males were fighting each other with sticks.
The officer arrived at the scene, where both males were separating and holding banisters.
31-year-old Troy Michael Johnson stated he and his roommate had been drinking vodka and started to argue. Troy stated that his roommate had been teaching him how to fight, but he took it too far. Troy shoved his roommate outside and started throwing his belongings onto the lawn.
The roommate entered the house, where Troy admitted to removing a banister from the railing in the entry and striking his roommate on the head with it. This caused the roommate serious bodily injury. Troy stated that he would not normally do this, but he was inebriated.
The roommate had a laceration on his forehead that was 3-4 inches long and was sent for medical treatment at the ER.
Troy Johnson was placed under arrest for aggravated assault, domestic violence, and intoxication, and was transported to the Duchesne County Jail to be booked.
