At around 6:00 pm, at 3 West Main Street in Vernal, dispatch was advised by the caller that a male was out in the road yelling profanities and trying to fight with individuals who walked by him.

A second caller reported that an intoxicated male, described as wearing a green shirt, basketball shorts, and a ball cap, was yelling at every male who walked past him. The male was then observed getting into a black Durango and sitting in the vehicle's passenger side.

Officer Candelas made contact with the male, identified as 51-year-old Antonio Nekeo Redfoot, who was found holding a closed alcoholic beverage of 4 Loko and emitted a strong odor of alcohol as they spoke.

When Antonio was found by the police, he was loud and causing the public alarm. Sgt. Cannon instructed him to stop his actions, but Antonio began waving his hands in the air and yelling.

Antonio was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and intoxication. An active court order for Antonio was located, and it stated that he had No use of alcohol.

While in handcuffs and being escorted to the patrol vehicle, Antonio began to pull away from the officers and was instructed to stop, which he did. He then entered the patrol vehicle. Antonio was transported to the Uintah County Jail.

Upon arrival, he was asked to sit down, but instead, he approached the glass and began yelling at the jail staff. While the jail staff was attempting to have Antonio blow into a PBT, he lifted his leg as if he was going to kick one of the officers in the shin.

Antonio was stood up to be shackled so he could be transported to the hospital. He began to resist and had to be placed on the ground to be shackled.

After Antonio was medically cleared, he was transported back to the Uintah County Jail and booked in on the following charges:

Intoxication

Disorderly conduct

Interference with Peace Officer

Unlawful purchase by an interdicted person

Based on the affirmation of Officer Candelas,  the arresting officer, the undersigned magistrate finds that probable cause existed for the arrest without a warrant of Antonio N Redfoot. Antonio N Redfoot may post bail in the amount of $1,960.00.
