FBI Task Force agents ran a routine license plate check on a vehicle and found that this vehicle didn’t have insurance and that an arrest warrant was attached to it.
The Task Force Agents conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle at approximately 1697 East Main, Ballard, Utah.
32-year-old Lenora Lu Christensen told the agent at her window that she didn’t have a valid driver’s license. A certified narcotics K9 was deployed to do a free air sniff around the exterior of Lenora’s vehicle. The K9 indicated on the passenger side of this vehicle the odor of illegal narcotics.
During a records check of Lenora, it returned that she had two active arrest warrants. She was arrested and placed in the back of the patrol vehicle.
Lenora admitted she had been consuming fentanyl but claimed to have not consumed it for several days.
After being warned about taking illegal drugs into jail, Lenora then admitted she had hidden drug items in her bra and pocket. She retrieved several pieces of tinfoil and two tooter straws from her person. Lenora stated the tinfoil with burnt residue and the tutor straws with residue were from consuming fentanyl pills today. Lenora said she had consumed several pills today.

on 1/20/25, Officer McGaha noticed a vehicle traveling 74 mph in a 65 mph zone and waited to stop the vehicle in a safe location near milepost 133.
The vehicle stopped, and the officer approached and made contact with the two occupants. The driver was identified verbally, and the passenger was 32-year-old Lenora Lu Christensen.
Officer McGaha requested a driver's license and proof of insurance from the driver and asked Lenora for her identification as she was not wearing a seat belt. Lenora offered a first name only.
When asked about their travel history, the driver stated he was transporting a family member of his wife to Vernal but could not provide a name.
Officer McGaha requested a K9, and while waiting, he performed a driver check and found that Lenora's driver's license was expired and "Denied - Reinstatement Fee."
Trooper Searle arrived with a K9 and conducted a free-air sniff around the vehicle. The K9 gave a positive alert on the passenger side, indicating the presence of narcotics.
Upon Officer McGaha's return to the vehicle, he noted that both individuals appeared nervous, with Lenora particularly panicked. The occupants were informed of the K9 alert and explained that there was probable cause to search the vehicle.
The officer asked if anything inside the vehicle could cause the K9 to be alerted, and Lenora stated the vehicle belonged to her father and there shouldn’t be anything inside.
The occupants were instructed to leave their belongings in the vehicle before exiting. Lenora requested to take a bag of chips with her, and when the officer asked to inspect the bag, she became visibly panicked and said she wanted to be honest.
She handed Officer McGaha a bag of Funyuns containing the following items:
* A glass pipe with a bulb end
* A blue baggie with white residue
* A melted plastic straw
Lenora stated the items belonged to her cousin.
The items were secured in the patrol vehicle, and Lenora was uncuffed and placed in the rear passenger seat of the patrol car to stay warm. Her cell phone was placed on the hood.
Police conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, and the following items were discovered:
* Under the passenger seat: A gold bag containing two methamphetamine pipes, foil with burn marks consistent with narcotics use, and a baggie with suspected residue. (The gold bag was later inadvertently left on the passenger seat.)
* Under the driver seat: A THC vape cartridge.
* Center console: An additional THC vape cartridge.
* Other areas: A plastic bag containing multiple pieces of foil with burn trails, a modified Gatorade bottle bong containing white powder residue, and a glass bulb pipe inside.
Both parties were released and advised a summons would be applied for.
On April 16th, 2025, Officer McGaha saw Lenora being arrested on unrelated charges and would also be adding these charges vs writing a warrant for her arrest.
