Vernal City Police Officers were dispatched to the Silver Pines Condos & Apartments at 99 East 860 South regarding a fight in progress.

Cpl Randall arrived on the scene first and observed an adult female standing on the apartment's balcony. He called out to the female, but she didn't answer. The officer then walked up the stairs and spoke with the tenant.

The tenant stated there had been an argument between the sisters, said the two had separated, and felt confident the argument was over.

The officer began to leave the scene, and while walking to their patrol vehicles, Cpl Randall heard a disturbance coming from behind him. He turned around and saw two females grabbing each other's arms and arguing.

Multiple occupants of the apartment were telling the two females to stop.

The two females were 34-year-old Jesylene Kitty Jenks and 38-year-old Haona Louisa Apolinario.

Cpl Randall made his way back up the stairs and was invited in by a female who told the officer that Jesylene had come out of the bathroom and gone toward Haona.

Cpl Randall went to the balcony and separated Haona and Jesylene. While separating the two, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. Hanoa and Jesylene were placed in handcuffs and placed in separate patrol vehicles.

Jesylene submitted to take a Portable Breath Test. The PBT resulted in a presumptive BrAC of .190.

Haona submitted to take a Portable Breath Test. The PBT resulted in a presumptive BrAC of .195.

Haona and Jesylene were arrested and transported to the Uintah County Jail.

Based on the affirmation of Cpl. Randall, the arresting officer, the undersigned magistrate finds that probable cause existed for the arrest without a warrant of Haona Louisa Apolinario. Haona Louisa Apolinario may post bail in the amount of $580.00
