| Naples, Ut. | July 25th, 2024 |

Officer McDavid was out on patrol when he was dispatched to a disorderly at 1050 East 2500 South. Upon the officer's arrival at the scene, a male and female were walking eastbound on 2500 South.

The female began waving the officer down; after pulling over, the female got on her knees and put her hands behind her head.

Officer McDavid approached the male, had him turn around, and placed him in handcuffs for safety reasons. Officer Young arrived and began speaking with the female.

Officer McDavid immediately noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the male. The male informed the officer that he and his girlfriend had been at a friend's house drinking, and they were on their way home. The male stated they had been receiving a ride home from a friend when there was a disagreement between two of the parties in the vehicle. The car was pulled to the side of the road and the male and his girlfriend were kicked out of the car.

Officer McDavid asked the male if he had any identification on him, to which he responded that he did. I retrieved the male's wallet from his back left pocket. Robert stated that he had quite a bit to drink at his friend's house, and when asked what he had to drink, he replied that he had about 10 drinks of beer and some mixed drinks.

The male provided the officer with identification for himself and the female. He was identified as 31-year-old Robert Conrad McBride. Robert informed Officer McDavid that the female was his girlfriend. She started to become agitated about the situation, and he attempted to calm her down. The female was identified as 35-year-old Meagan Alexandria Cunningham.

While speaking with Robert, the officer noticed he had some blood in his mouth and asked how he got injured. Robert stated that while he was trying to calm Meagan down, she slapped him across the face.

During their conversation, Officer Young and Officer Ross informed Meagan she was going to be detained. While being detained, Meagan began to breathe heavily and started yelling as more patrol vehicles arrived on the scene. She then attempted to pull away from Officer Young, and Officer Ross attached to the arm opposite of Officer Young.

Officer Young and Officer Ross were attempting to escort Meagan to Officer Ross' patrol vehicle when she locked up her legs and started pushing backward. Meagan started dragging her legs on the ground, stating that she was not going to be arrested.

At the patrol vehicle, Meagan placed both feet on the floorboard and postured up over the top of the truck. She refused to duck her head to be placed into the seat. After being assisted into the rear seat of the patrol vehicle, Meagan refused to let the Officers close the door by placing her feet in the way.

Officer Young moved her feet into the vehicle and Meagan was taken to the Uintah County Jail. When arriving at the Jail she became combative with Jail staff as they removed her from the vehicle.

When asked about the altercation, she responded by saying she did not remember hitting anyone.

Robert McBride was later released.

Meagan Cunningham may post bail in the amount of $2,000.00.
