Police chase a motorcycle at speeds over 100 mph, man gets arrested after turning down a dead-end road

Roosevelt, Utah—On March 30th, 2026, at around 2 am, Deputy Borrelli observed a black motorcycle traveling East toward Roosevelt at a high rate of speed near Myton, Utah.
The deputy observed the motorcycle speed up and pass a semi on a double yellow line. He then activated his overhead emergency lights and began chasing the motorcycle.
The man sped up and began passing vehicles at high speed. Deputy Borrelli was chasing the individual at 103 mph and still would not stop.
The motorcycle was seen turning right on 2000 South and continuing at speeds over 100 mph. He continued East on 2000 South to 1500 East, then turned left and headed North towards Roosevelt.
Officer Reed with RPD drove South on 1500 East and met the motorcycle. When seen, the rider turned left onto 1000 South and stopped because the road was a dead end.
Deputy Borrelli parked his vehicle facing the suspect and instructed him to turn off the bike. The suspect sat on the motorcycle with his hands up. The deputy began walking toward the suspect, and when he got close, the suspect put his hands back down on the handlebars and attempted to drive off.
The deputy jumped and tackled the suspect off the bike, causing the bike to fall over, and pulled him to the ground. With the assistance of Officer Reed, the suspect was identified as 19-year-old Jason Marvin McKee and was placed under arrest.
Jason's motorcycle was impounded, and he was taken to the Duchesne County Jail and booked for evading (failure to stop at the command of an officer), reckless driving, speeding 100+ mph, improper lane change, improper stop/turn, and no motorcycle license.
