Police arrest a male for drugging and sex trafficking a 15-year-old female to multiple men.

3-31-25

| Roosevelt, Ut. | March 24th, 2025 |

On 3/4/25, the Children's Justice Center (CJC) interviewed a 15-year-old female at the time of the incident, who disclosed she was being human trafficked and drugged by multiple adult men who were having sex with the minor in Roosevelt, Utah.

During the CJC interview, the victim stated while at the apartment, she met 23-year-old Dreaven Doyle Hunter, who was approximately 20 years old at the time and had recently gotten out of prison and was staying with family.

The victim said Dreaven saw her as one of the "homies" and saw her as an adult even though she was only 15. She added they used her, and they saw her as one of the adults doing drugs. She would always tell them her age, but they would pretend she was 18 years old.

The victim stated it was snowy around the time she was living there but couldn't remember the exact month, saying the time "blurred together." She said that it (sex and drugs) happened pretty much all the time Dreaven was there. The victim stated she remembers being 15 years old and she and Dreaven would do drugs together; Dreaven would supply the drugs. She stated they all shared a room and didn't always sleep in it but hung out.

The victim said, "Dreaven would lock the door, and they just YAH. At that point, I felt like this was just how it was and that it happened a lot with me, other guys, and him. It happened to me a lot in that room. They would get high and go on the bed and just like ya."

Dreaven would have the victim undress, and he would never say, you would just do it kind of thing the victim stated. She said it was threatening but could not explain it. She said that there were always people in that room hanging out.

The victim told investigators that she would remove her clothes or else, and Dreaven would make her have sex and then would just leave. She stated that sometimes there were marks or bruises on her throat. "He would get on top of me and like grab me right there, with one hand, and fade in and out of consciousness."

The victim stated the bruising would be dark, and she would cover it with makeup.

On 3/21/25, Dreaven was brought into an interview room at the Duchesne County Jail since he was already incarcerated for prior charges.

Dreaven admitted to living in the apartment in Roosevelt with family around 2022. He stated that his family was taking care of the victim at the time. The detective explained to him that there were allegations of Dreaven having sex with two of the girls.

Dreaven stated that nothing like that happened between them and that they were just doing drugs together for the two months he was there. The detective asked if he realized that the girls were minors at the time they were living there, and Dreaven stated yes.

Dreaven eventually admitted to communicating through SnapChat with the victim and admitted to having sex with her. He denied knowing the victim was 15 years old at the time of the incident but knew she was young. Dreaven said he "Fucked up," but she initiated it.

Dreaven stated he could not remember the exact amount but that five was probably an accurate number of times they had sex after smoking meth.

Dreaven Hunter is being charged with 5 1st-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual assault.

The current offense is a felony. The court finds substantial evidence to support the charge, and finds by clear and convincing evidence that Dreaven Doyle Hunter would constitute a substantial danger to any other individual or to the community, or is likely to flee the jurisdiction of the court if released on bail.

Therefore, the court orders that Dreaven Doyle Hunter is to be held without bail.
