At 12:15 am, Deputy Roth responded to a third-party report of an assault. The victim explained he had been watching his and 31-year-old Heather Rae Dudley's three children as she got off work.

Heather arrived, and the victim allowed her to enter his home to gather their children and their belongings. During this time, Heather became upset because the victim couldn't find one of the children's bottles that she claimed they needed for bedtime.

The victim showed Deputy Roth recordings of the incident, where the victim could be heard telling Heather to leave the residence multiple times. Heather continued to ignore his request and kept moving around the home, searching for the bottle.

At this time, Heather was seen hitting the victim multiple times while yelling at him about being a bad father. It could be seen on the video of Heather trying to knock the phone from the victim he was using to record with from his hands.

At one point during the exchange, the victim could be heard telling Heather to leave his residence and Heather can be seen picking up a wall decoration that had fallen and throwing it along with other items at the victim striking him in the head causing the wall decoration to break.

On the recording, you can see the youngest child crying and screaming during the altercation, and the argument eventually leads to the driveway where Heather and the victim's mother had arrived. Heather continues to yell at both the other party and the victim and eventually gets into another altercation with the victim's mother.

Before loading the children and leaving, Deputy Roth observed that the victim had blood coming from his bottom lip, a mark on his forehead, and several red marks on his chest, neck, and shoulder.

Heather was located at her residence and was placed under arrest and transported to the Uintah County Jail and booked on one count of Assault (Domestic Violence), three counts of Domestic Violence in the Presence of a Child, and one count of Property Damage to all charged as a Misdemeanor B.
