A female reported that her boyfriend, 39-year-old Blake William Hammer, had tried to hit her and refused to leave. While the officer was en route, the female reported that Blake had left on a yellow 4-wheeler.

Cpl. Cox was on the East River road coming into Duchesne when he saw Blake on his yellow 4-wheeler and waved him down.

The officer asked Blake for his ID and what had happened today with his girlfriend. He denied ever trying to hit the reporting party and denied that anything physical had happened.

Dispatch ran Blake's information, and during this time, Cpl. Cox spoke with the female, who said that Blake never tried to hit her; he only refused to leave.

Dispatch returned that Blake had a statewide warrant for his arrest.

Cpl. Cox advised Blake that he was going to jail for the warrant. A melted pen pipe was found in his pocket, commonly used for narcotics. The tooter pipe was tested, which showed positive for fentanyl.

After locating the drug pipe on Blake's person, the probable cause search of his other property continued. Blake said he would have a syringe needle for meth that was in a box in his tote.

Cpl. Cox located a metal magnet container, and inside the container was a glass pipe with burnt marijuana, multiple clear baggies, some containing meth, small glass vials with white residue, two syringe needles, two rubber containers with a waxy substance consistent with THC, and tin foil.

Blake was then transported and booked into the Duchesne County Jail.
