A Chevy Silverado was parked at the first drive-thru window at the Vernal McDonald's with a suspected intoxicated male who was slumped over and passed out.

Officer Escobedo arrived and identified the male as 35-year-old Bryan O’Sullivan. Bryan does not have a valid driver’s license.

Bryan stated he was originally from Ireland but was in Utah for work. As the officer continued to speak with Bryan, he could smell the odor of alcohol emitting from his breath. He denied drinking any alcohol but agreed to the field sobriety tests.

Officer Escobedo determined there was enough probable cause to arrest Bryan O’Sullivan for DUI. A PBT returned the results of .173 BrAC.

Bryan was arrested and transported to the Uintah County Jail.
