Angry Pedestrian Causes Scene on 1500 E.

Naples, Utah—On June 5, 2026, Officer Silcox received a call regarding a man standing by the roadside at 826 South 1500 East. The individual was described as having long hair, wearing a red shirt, dark shorts, and no shoes.
Upon arriving at the location, Officer Silcox spotted a man matching that description. Although he recognized him from previous encounters, he couldn’t recall his name. The officer informed the individual that he had come to address reports of disruptive behavior, specifically yelling and making offensive gestures towards passing cars.
When asked for his name or identification, the man replied, "You already know who I am." Despite several requests for him to provide identification and warnings about the potential consequences of not doing so, the man, later identified as 44-year-old Nathan Carroll Fairey, became increasingly agitated.
Nathan rummaged through his bag for his wallet despite being told to stop. In a moment of frustration, he threw his belongings onto the ground and failed to show any form of identification. Given his rising agitation and the nature of the initial report, Officer Silcox placed him in handcuffs and asked him to calm down.
In response, Nathan made a loud throat noise and displayed spitting behavior. Officer Silcox warned him against spitting, advising that doing so could lead to further charges. Nathan then raised his voice and shouted, "Get the fuck off of my fucking life before I fucking end you." He demanded the officer’s name and agency, adding, "You're fucking over." His outburst was loud enough to be heard by people inside a nearby building as he continued to yell for the removal of the handcuffs.
Ultimately, Nathan was arrested and booked into Uintah County Jail for disorderly conduct after he was repeatedly asked to stop his disruptive actions.
