Cpl Cox was informed that 55-year-old Carol Elisabeth Jensen had missed court and had a no-bail warrant for her arrest.

The deputy went to Carol's address in Duchesne and knocked on the door. Carol answered. She was asked to come outside but was hesitant. Cpl Cox told Carol she had a no-bail warrant and was under arrest.

Carol then retrieved her purse and jacket and walked outside, where she was arrested and placed in handcuffs.

Carol's purse was searched before going to jail, and inside her purse was a piece of tin foil. Inside the tinfoil was a black tar substance consistent with heroin.

Cpl Cox used a roadside NIK to test the substance, which tested positive for opiates (heroin). Carol was asked if she had anything else on her, and she stated that she did not.

Upon arrival at the jail, Carol was walked inside, where Deputy Phillips conducted a search. Inside Carol's jacket pocket, the deputy found a clear baggie with a white crystal rock substance consistent with meth.

Carol said she didn't know it was in her jacket and wouldn't have brought it if she had known.

Carol was then booked into the Duchesne County Jail on her statewide warrant, possession of controlled substance (meth), heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
