Uintah County, Ut.- At around 3:00 am on Sunday, Utah Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on US-40 near milepost 138.

Uintah County Deputies were with the female driver, who was intoxicated. A witness stated they had to swerve out of the way to miss hitting her. The ambulance arrived on scene and transported the female to the hospital, and a Uintah County Deputy followed the ambulance to stay with the female.

When UHP Trooper Ryan arrived on the scene, he observed tire marks on the westbound side of the shoulder up the hill, where a small passenger car was lying on its top. The vehicle had extensive damage to all sides, as if it had rolled multiple times.

The wrecked vehicle was registered to 26-year-old Rylee R. Curry.

Witnesses on scene told the deputies they saw Rylee at the Gateway Saloon earlier in the night.

In the debris, Trooper Ryan found a pink vape pen with a THC logo on it and another muti-colored vape pen that had a burnt substance with the odor of marijuana. Dispatch ran Rylee's information, and she didn't have a medical marijuana card.

When the Trooper arrived at the hospital and went to Rylee's room, Trooper Ryan could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from Rylee. She attempted multiple times to take off her neck brace and was highly incoherent.

Due to Rylee's intoxicated-induced incoherence, Trooper Ryan was unable to read a request for a chemical test and requested a blood draw warrant. The warrant was approved by Judge Chiara and was served to Rylee in the hospital.

Rylee was transported to the Uintah County Jail, where she was booked in on DUI-1st offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to operate within a single lane.
