It was reported that a female had been punched multiple times by her son, 33-year-old Durrell Garth Miller.

During the investigation, it was found that Durrell had been consuming alcohol earlier, along with the victim, who was driving the vehicle.

While the victim was driving Durrell back to his residence with his child in the backseat, Durrell and the victim got into a disagreement, which escalated and became physical.

The victim smacked Durrell, which led him to strike the victim in the face multiple times, which caused her to have a black eye, and they drove off the side of the road.

After gathering this information and speaking with Durrell further about the incident, he denied hitting the victim.

Durrell was then placed under arrest for disorderly conduct for engaging in violent, tumultuous behavior and intoxication for being under the influence of alcohol to a degree that made him a danger to himself and others.

Durrell was then transported to the Uintah County Jail by an assisting Deputy.

Deputy Elmer conducted an inventory of the victim's car due to her driving under the influence and before the vehicle was impounded.

During the search, a black backpack was found on the passenger side containing a case for a THC Vape. After a further inspection around the passenger seat, where it was determined Durrell was sitting, a bottle of THC pineapple gummies was located in the glove box. In the trunk area of the car, a pineapple marijuana pipe was located on top of Durrell's duffle bag, which was later released to his wife, who arrived on the scene later.

Durrell was also charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana at the Uintah County Jail.

Durrell Garth Miller may post bail in the amount of $1,890.00.
