A man with a knife breaks in to a residence in Uintah County

On February 9^th, 2026, A Uintah County Deputy and a Naples City Officer responded to a call of a burglary in the area of 4000 S 500 E.

The suspect had left the scene before the police arrived.

When the UCSO deputy arrived and spoke to the caller, who explained that she was inside the home when she heard someone banging on the front door, a loud noise occurred, and the door was kicked in.

The caller told the police she saw a larger white male in a gray tank-top-style shirt with tattoos on his arms enter her home and begin walking down the hallway toward her. She then said that he eventually left her residence and, to her best knowledge, went to the home just to the Southwest.

While the police were speaking with the first victim, two individuals exited their residence, which the victim believed the suspect had entered. The two individuals stated they needed help right away.

The deputy approached the two, who were calling for help, and stated he had been assaulted with a knife while inside his residence. The woman told the deputy that the man inside her home is 46-year-old Boe Lewis Horrocks.

The police entered the home and were met by an adult male who informed them that Boe was in the kitchen. Police went to the kitchen area and saw Bow wearing a gray tank top with tattoos on both arms. After verifying that Boe was no longer armed, he was asked why he was inside other people's residences. While the officers spoke with Boe, they could smell the odor of alcohol coming from his breath, and he was slurring his words.

Boe's behavior made the police believe he was intoxicated, and they detained him until the officers could gather more information on what had occurred earlier.

While placing Boe in handcuffs, he tensed up and began to resist the officers. They eventually got both hands behind his back and placed Boe in handcuffs. While the officers walked Boe to a patrol vehicle, Boe continued to resist, including when he was told to get into the vehicle; he refused several times before finally getting into the truck.

During the investigation, it was learned that when the complainant had heard the locked door being kicked in, she immediately retrieved a firearm due to her being fearful of her life and her not knowing who the individual was or what his intentions were.
