Police responded to the Maeser trailer court on the report of harassment in progress. The complainant stated that a male subject had been drinking and harassing the neighborhood children.
Deputy Fairey met with the complainant, who said her son had been playing basketball in the street when 23-year-old Rison Perenise Vagana came to the fence line and asked the boy to "give him a kiss."
The boy's mother stated her son ran into the house to tell her what had happened, and she called the police.
Deputy Fairey located Rison, who was cooperative and asked him about the incident. Rison said that he did say to the male juvenile, "Give me a kiss."
Rison had the odor of alcohol coming from his person and had difficulty speaking. Dispatch advised that Rison also had a local Eighth District Court warrant.
Rison Vagana was arrested for the warrant, intoxication, and disorderly conduct and placed into handcuffs. He was transported to the Uintah County Jail and booked on the above charges. At the jail, Rison submitted to a PBT, which showed positive for alcohol with a reading of 0.11 BrAC.
Rison Perenise Vagana may post bail in the amount of $320.00.
